This book is not at all what I thought it would be. I was expecting to see card making ideas and it doesn't show many cards

I bought this book recently, waited eagerly for it to arrive, bought and arranged lots of card making supplies in advance of its arrival, and was overjoyed when it came in the mail. I find the book beautifully laid out. All of the instructions are clear as can be. I wish I could say I started making beautiful cards, but that is not the case. The book is so very beautiful, I actually find it rather daunting. Once I get past this block and actually try making one of the cards, I might up my rating to five rather than four stars. It is a lovely book.

The book brings ideas and procedures to my level of experience. Dozens and dozens of great ideas for every situation of card making. Love it.

Excellent book with all I needed to create cards

This arrived on time and was exactly as described. Let's start with the pros: book is nicely constructed and very well made. My mother has been making cards for some time now she ham is no pro but she's come to love doing it. She found this book to be very helpful to her in making cards that she has not tried before. Cons well honestly there are no cons this book is well made well-thought-out has great ideas and my mother loved it as part of her Christmas gift. I would highly recommend this.

I did not find the cards in this book attractive, and I didn't find the ideas innovative.

not what I was expecting

I've recently got into card making, and was hooping for a book which would give me ideas for different card templates, and suggestions for layouts. There are quite a number of different techniques detailed in the book, but I didn't really feel that many of them looked 'professional' enough for me to seriously consider using.

it is mostly like scrapbooking...........not really what I was looking for

Enjoyable reading with some good ideas for card making, but I was surprised not to see much information about using my Sizzix machine... otherwise useful and interesting.
