My power door locks started going crazy, and I thought that I was having electrical issues. Then I took apart my key fob and everything stopped. So I came here on Amazon looking for a replacement key fob but what I really needed was just the rubber insert with new contacts. If you look at one of my pictures you can see that one of the little metal discs that make contact with the circuit board had slipped and was making contact all by itself. I ordered these inserts, because they had good reviews, but being so inexpensive you're always worried about the quality. I can tell you that these work perfectly in my 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab pickup. The clicking action is like a brand new key fob and the rubber makes it look nice and new. If you see my pictures you can see how to disassemble your key fob. First Slide the little slider over and pull your spare key out. A lot of people don't even know that's in there. Then take a sharp object like a small flat screwdriver or the edge of a knife carefully, and split the key fob in half gently. Now may be a good time to replace your battery with a CR2032 lithium battery that you can also get on Amazon. I replaced both of the key fob inserts and I am very happy with results.

The red panic button sticks out too far. Every time I put my key in the ignition it presses the panic button. I'm thinking about maybe trimming some off the redbutton off or just ripping the metal disc off the button and song without having a panic button.

I even made an attempt to swap the circuit board but the a.m. parts had the metal buttons attached to the board so that was a fail. Returned both. Found this. Dodge dealer wanted me To pay $175 up front then charge me $75 for the programming and key cutting. And I had 2 that were failing.This fixed everything for a little more than 10 bucks! To be clear: I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE.

When my oem fob (2017 ram 1500) stopped working, I thought I was about to spend some bucks to get it replaced. After searching up the issues I was having, I found that I just needed to replace this part of the fob. Ordered it and not only does it fit perfectly, but it fixed the problem (saving me a bunch). Both fobs for my 2010 Journey started going bonkers. It would lock and unlocked if you practically looked at them. In my pocket, forget it, it was like Christine. But just before I clicked the Order button on two new fobs at $200 ea found this product on Amazon which I then figured out that it was all I really needed. They arrived yesterday, I changed out the parts in both fobs and they work like new again! So happy.

This worked flawlessly to replace the membrane for my 2011 Ram 1500. It looks nice and has a very positive click when pressing the buttons. I never had a brand new one so I can't compare it to new, but it looks very nice and works well. I couldn't ask for more.

My wife’s key fob for my truck suddenly stopped unlocking the doors. I took the key apart and saw that the metal pieces had come off of the inside of the rubber piece. Replaced it with this product and it works just like new. No issues at all.

This is awesome. One of the metal click tabs inside my remote for my 2014 Jeep Cherokee broke off and couldn’t make contact with the circuit board so it wouldn’t lock. I tried re glueing it and nothing worked. Replacement keys are like $40-80 not including another $60 or so to get them programmed and all I needed was this rubber piece. Please keep making these big lifesaver. The fit is a little tighter in the OEM key but a little patience and it snaps together perfectly
