Saw the similar thing in Asia and Asian restaurants to serve hot sizzling foods like Taiwanese street steaks, short ribs or seafood. I used it to cook small amount of food (eg. Asian turnip cake, Tofu, etc) on the stovetop or portable gas stove. It gave you the quality of cast iron cookware food. It’s definitely a keeper.

I bought two of them and received them in one box. Both of the griddles and wood bottom are completely different than what Amazon displays. One of the griddle has two holes. Very disappointed and return both of them today.

I made some sizzling steak with this and it is amazing.

The “cow” is nothing like what I got. Buyer beware.
