La Crosse Technology TX141TH-BV2 Wireless Outdoor Thermo-Hygrometer Transmitting Sensor

In 2017, I was at my grandparents and brought my La Crosse weather station, stayed for a few days, and as I was getting ready to leave, I noticed my remote sensor was missing. I looked everywhere, couldn't find it anywhere. A new one had to be bought 2 days after my birthday. When it arrived, it immediately recognized the system and is still working great today in 2024!

We purchased a La Crosse weather center years ago and love it. Unfortunately, the transmitter sensor got wet a couple of times which was causing some issues. We dried it out, cleaned the connections, and it worked for a while until it didn't. This replacement works like the original and was easy to connect to the weather station. The sensor seems a bit pricey to me, but we use the weather center on a daily basis and appreciate that the company makes replacement sensors.

I needed a replacement sensor for my Wireless weather station. The one that came with the unit got too wet and no longer worked. I had it for about a year. I thought it was under the awning away from the rain, but I guess not enough. I think this sensor was a little pricey just for a replacement, but if you need to get another one you are pretty well stuck having to pay the price. As far as working it does a great job. It is easy to set up and works immediately if you follow the simple directions. I would give this a five star except I find the price a little steep.

We moved and the movers lost multiple boxes (sigh). The wireless remote sensor was in one of those so we needed a replacement.This is an exact replacement for the one that "disappeared," and it works identically with the original one. Beyond that there is little to tell: it installed quickly and easily, and it sync'ed up with the indoor unit without any problems.The indoor unit I have is an older one, but if I needed another one, I'd buy it OR it's more modern replacement in a heartbeat.The sensor appears to work well and the temperature and humidity reading seem accurate. Beyond that I'm NOT a meteorologist (obviously) and I can't say much else about it.Definitely recommended to friends, family, co-workers, dogs, cats, enemies, politicians, and all other carbon-based life forms. (sorry - the "standard" recommendation seemed a bit dull).

my remote bit the dust nestled among my orchids, so I needed a replacement. i went with the same brand La Crosse. Well you can buy the Weather Station & a remote for $56 but a single remote will cost $41! it's a rip off. amazon should look into the seller.

I have had LaCrosse Tech products in my home for over 20 years. My first was a plain indoor/outdoor themometer. I now have the weather station which is outstanding. In addition to temps and temp tracking, it provides humidity, moon phases (we live on the coast, so very helpful), daily forecasts, etc. The fact that I can easily replace these sensors, make their technology so much more reliable. I received the replacement within a week.

I liked that I could find the controller for my Weather station, in stores it was not available alone I had to rebuy the whole kit. It worked great with the weather station as shown in photo.

This is a replacement sensor to my system and works as well as the original!

As another customer reviewed before the outdoor sensor does NOT do the job, it loses contact with the indoor units quite often. Tried to place transmitter ON THE WINDOW in direct view of the receiver and still loses contact.

The sensor works well, giving accurate temperature in the house from a well enclosure which is about 250 feet away. No issues at this time.
