Really what you have here is three of the greatest things in the wold. PORN, PORN, and more PORN. Then you have Mike Sager writing about it and a quote from Hunter S. Thompson. What more could you ask for? If you loved the movie Boogie Nights then you will love this book which gives the inside scoop about John Holmes' life and death and murder trial. There are also some really cool old skool porn movie posters. From a time when porn couldn't get to your house and you had to go to a theater. Plus you get other stories about drugs, porn, and murder. There's a story about porn star Savannah and one about Swingers. Who doesn't love porn stars Nina Hartley and Asia Carrera. This is the gift that keeps on giving.

I found this very confusing; the author jumps around. The best book on this legend is by his girlfriend Dawn "A walk through Wonderland surviving John holmes." I'd recommend his Autobiography, but most of that is just him bragging. Thanks for reading my review

Not well written, stories are all over the place jumping around and not really connecting which makes it hard work and ultimately tedious to read.
