This is a reasonably solid tin. It is big. The dough required to fill it requires a full 1kg of flour in it's making. If you just use 1kg of dough (approx. 600g flour) it wouldn't be enough.

Expensive for what it is. Use 1KG of dry ingredients at your peril it will squirt out of the vents. I find 800kg dry, a little lower temp than normal and 10 mins with the lid off make for a decent loaf. No way is this a 1Kg tin.

Makes a great loaf

Great look, vented, slide top cover, non stick coating a bit thin.

This tin definitely cannot contain 1000g of dry ingredients. It will squirt through the vents.
