really good sardines
Even if you love sardines like I do, these are so much better than what is available at a mainstream grocery store. After the can is opened, I store the remainder in a glass Pyrex or Anchor Hocking bowl with tight lid. They'll keep forever. Well, no they won't because I eat them at least one meal a week for the nutrition they bring in addition to yumminess.YouTube has short videos showing how to wash these. I like to soak them in water for 4-5 minutes and then rinse them like in the videos, just to get rid of more of the salt. If you are eating Paleo like I do, 3 or 4 of these cut fine or mashed with a drizzle of olive oil and fresh lemon juice, mix it up and let it sit while you make a little tossed salad. Plate the salad and plot the sardine mix in the middle. It makes a tasty and quick lunch thaqt will feed your body and your senses.
