The Leg Pillow - Pillow For Lower Body Pain and Sciatica [Made in England]

Firstly, it’s extremely annoying to see 10% of reviews showing 1* but when you look, there are no words there. Presumably false reviews and no help whatsoever to anyone.Now, the pillow. I’m recovering from a hip replacement and have just started laying on my side. The issue (which I had before) is that the hard part of both knees then press against each other and it becomes very uncomfortable. I’ve tried various solutions....I find a soft ordinary pillow OK but too big. The memory foam hour glass knee/leg pillows are not only too hard but they do nothing to stop the knee bones pressing on a firmish surface. So I thought I’d try this pillow with a hole.On the whole (sic!) I’m very pleased. The pillow is small enough to be manageable and large enough to be effective. The hole in the middle means that the boney parts can sit over the hole and do not need to touch at all. The pillow is also adjustable in the sense that it can be made softer of firmer by removing or adding filling. In my case, I found the pillow acceptably comfortable over the first few days but I then removed some filling evenly across the pillow which did make it a bit softer and also allowed the knees to lay closer to each other but still not touching...just right for me.So especially if you’re looking for something to help you after a hip op, then I’d wholeheartedly recommend this. The ergonomics of it also tend to help keep the legs/knees in the right place...which is a real concern with that operation. There is a comfortable strap to hold it to one leg...I certainly haven’t used that and for anyone of a certain age who has to get up to go to the loo several times during the night, it’s a nice but completely impractical addition. I cut mine off...easy, took 5 seconds.I’ve only given 4* for comfort simply because however comfortable these things are, you’re always aware they are there. You do get used to them but they can’t ever be 5* in my view. But to put that into perspective, I’d give the usual memory foam versions 2* so this pillow is way better.It may seem a bit expensive but it’s a small price to pay for a better night sleep. If you’ve had the hip op are worrying about laying on your side and are thinking about a pillow, I’d recommend going for this one. I think I’ll probably buy another one to use whilst the first one is in the wash.

Perfection at last! I have tried many many of these types of pillow as have had a hip replacement, and even though that was over a year ago, I still don't like the feeling of my knees knocking together...weird as I didn't have this before the op, but this wonderful pillow aligns me up perfectly so I am comfortable all night and can easily roll over and take it with me...it's always still in position in the morning and that is without using the strap. The other pillows that I tried were either too soft so that the knees just weren't kept apart, or too hard so that it was uncomfortable This truly is the best pillow ever and is even adjustable so you can remove some of the filling if you wish. The hole gives it a really good defined shape and I even use it behind my head when laying in bed reading or doing a crossword. Just ordered a second one so I will have a spare as would hate to be without it! Very happy!

Glad I bought it. Only 4 as it does not stay all night

Having tried other knee pillows unsuccessfully I was doubtful this would reduce my back, hip and knee pain while sleeping. I was also concerned about the temperature discomfort experienced previously by using memory foam. The more than ample fibre filling maintains more constant comfortable temperature and the design makes it easy to forget it's presence because it compliments the shape of the leg.From the first use of this superbly simple pillow design the effect has been remarkable. I woke up with no back, hip or knee pain. This has continued without fail every night for the past 3 weeks and for that I believe this pillow to be the best. Additionally, the communication and provision by Tim has been refreshingly courteous, kind and generous which is rare nowadays.

I ordered this pillow with other items from amazon prime - saw that this was coming separately a day later absolutely fine and so I was so surprised and pleased for it to arrive BEFORE my other items!I absolutely love it - I have laberal tear in my hip so I have knee and hip pain. This unlike others is not to bulky to reposition when you toss over each side when trying to go to sleep. Great quality and aesthetically pleasing- I don’t feel like an old lady!Reason why I gave it 4 stars for support is the strap is a bit too long for me when I’m in bed 🙂 I would definitely recommend to anyone who has a sports injury and doesn’t want anything cumbersome.

This pillow is absolutely brilliant, I have been sleeping with my duvet between my knees up until now but it wasn't helping. This is a game changer. I waited a few weeks before writing a review, my sciatica is so much better and I am sleeping better. I lent it to my fiancé one night as he was really suffering and I missed it so much, I intend to buy him one... Side note... I know this isn't the intention but I have to mention it. I sprained my ankle two days ago and I couldn't find any comfort when my leg was elevated... I tried this pillow with my heel in the hole and it has helped so much supporting my ankle. Love love love it.

So I ordered this not really expecting it to help in all honesty, there are so many different leg pillows. Most of them seem to be memory foam though I went for this one as it’s stuffed and you can therefore adjust it. I have chronic pain most of which is in my back and this to my surprise has made a huge difference!! I am glad I bought this it is my new best friend and I will be taking it everywhere whenever I sleep away from home!

Got this for my husband who has suffered from horrendous pain in his hip for 12 weeks. Being investigated as I type but he found this did give him some relief while in bed. Would recommend, much better than trying to use an ordinary pillow
