Wolo(MCHWK-2) Air Horn Wiring Kit

The horn is kind of load I would have preferred a much loader horn more like a train horn.

It sounds like like the old horn and my Grandkids just love it was worth the money

Purchased with the Stebel horn and it made the install easy. Instructions pretty simple if you take the time to read slow.

This wire harness save my life from going crazy. I bought an air horn that comes with it's own wire harness but I wanted to install a separate horn from my original horn and that's where the problem came in, I couldn't understand how to get it to work maybe because there was no instruction to install separate horn switch so I decided to buy this wolo harness and this save my life. I would have give 5 star if the red wire that goes to the compressor motor had the little connector crimp on already because it was hard to crimp on if you don't have a crimp tool. And the other thing was that the ground wire connector that was crimp on to the wire just fall off, so these things took some time to do. Other that these problems it's perfect, especially that it came with it's own horn wire and switch. I have the original factory horn and this separate for fun.

I didn’t find this harness any easier than buying wires (4) to include one with an inline fuse for battery power and then wire the relay directly. The gauge of the harness wires could be heavier and the connectors could be sturdier-seemed cheaply made. Also, I have a C2 corvette and the distance from my battery to the horn is longer than most cars so the power line (red wire with inline fuse) needed to be longer but I spliced/lengthened to make it work Bottom line: I really don’t think you need this harness to wire up an integrated/compact air horn.

Just follow the instructions and do NOT forget to cut wires to the required length or you be left with a lot of unnecessary wiring.

I'm reading the comments and some complain about the switch being sub par. I disagree actually. I think it works quite well. I own a 2000 Crown Vic Police Interceptor and the police department removes all their equipment before they release these cars to the public. And when I purchased my car,the horn circuit was disconnected. I tried to fix the problem and searching the internet for a solution and it seemed that in my particular car,the horn circuit ended up in a wiring harness that was completely cut.So I purchased this kit and hooked up the horn button to my dash just left of the steering wheel. I actually like this switch better than the usual place on the wheel because you really don't have to press hard at all.And the wiring couldn't be easier. The wiring to the switch is actually a negative ground so just hook the switch to any ground. Then I replaced the stock horn to Wolo's Air Horn I found at Harbor Freight that came with a relay then hooking everything else up was easier then checking your oil.I've had this a little while now and it hasn't given me any problems and after months of dealing with no horn I finally have one.This was a great purchase. I can't be more happy.

Used this kit to wire Steibel Horn...made it super easy & clean. Well worth the $$$.

Am glad i found this kit. All needed is there, instructions are clear.Wish the horn came with this kit. Not for the money, just did not knowthis kit was available!

make the job simple to plug, but love a more up to date push button, very old school appearance not going well with the rest of the vehicle button

This harness works fine until you modify it a little bit. I had to purchase an external stronger fuse because the fuse provided kept burning out causing the wolo horn to just quit on me. I'm using this wiring kit with another horn and it works fine. Just make sure you use another fuse kit.

I wanted a bigger horn button for easy to find when needed. Wasn't to hard to install work's great with my air horn set up.
