Brought back the shine and softness that I remember.
The Peter Lamas Youth Revival Reparative Hair Oil is everything I hoped it would be. I have fine, thin, long hair that has a tendency to dry out - especially since I colored it last year. I followed the directions and used just a couple of drops of oil, rubbed in between my hands, then applied it midshaft to roots on my towel dried hair. The oil had a somewhat dry feeling to it and absorbed quickly. I proceeded to style it the way I normally would and found that my hair did not look greasy as I had expected it to. It had a nice shine, styled well and looked a little less dry than it did before. I have since upped my drops another 2 and it seems to be perfect for my hair. The Youth Revival Reparative Hair Oil has helped my hair and has brought some of the youthful softness and shine back. I will definitely be purchasing it again.

Great to use as a post-conditioner in the shower
I know you're supposed to put a few drops of this oil on your hands, rub them together and smooth onto your hair (wet or dry) before styling. I tried that, and it worked OK, although I needed more like 10 drops for my longish hair. What works even better is to use it in the shower after shampooing and conditioning — I put a big squirt onto my hands, rub it into my hair and briefly rinse it. My hair ends up much silkier this way; I love it!

Makes hair shiny and smooth, but only meant for ends of hair
I decided to try this Peter Lamas Hair Oil to help with my dry, slightly split ends. You are only supposed to use 1 to 3 drops, so it should not make your hair oily if you are using it correctly. I have oily hair and it did not make my hair feel oily. I apply 2 to 3 drops normally to just my ends since I have thicker hair.This product makes my ends look shiny and feel smoother. I wish that I could use it allover to help with flyaways. However, I know better than to do that with an oil. While it does make my hair look slightly better, I could really take or leave this product. I will say that my damage is minimal. I let my friend try it that has super damaged hair and she loves it. She even purchased her own bottle. So, it probably depends on your hair. I would recommend it if you have super dry hair.

Hair oil is fantastic
I never knew how fantastic a good hair oil cold truly be, as someone with thick, coarse, curly hair this does wonders repairing the damage and keeping the curls smooth and manageable.

super greasy, I have super super fried DRY hair
super greasy, I have super super fried DRY hair, it has been dyed over and over and over again, so I needed something to deep condition/ treat it, and with all the great reviews here, I thought I would have to try it!! unfortunately it was a big let down -for me anyway. I have super long hair thats been highlighted, ombre, and dyed a LOT! most treatments work and my hair feels silky while I use it, this was just very oily and greasy, I didn't like it at all.

I think you'll like it as there's not anything I can see to not like. If you don't mind the price I think you'll like it.
I have silver hair and yes, my hair is old, like almost 84. I have used many products on this hair as it is such a pretty color and oil products make it shine a whole bunch. I wash my hair every other day with a very expensive shampoo and conditioner because I like my hair to look its best.I use only a drop or two (more than 1 at night when I'm going to wash it in the a.m.) and it does extremely well. It's a little more expensive than the many kinds I have tried but it will last me a long time because it needs so little. So, based on that, it is not too expensive. That might not be the case for someone with longer hair than I have. Mine is kept short and I pouf it a little when it's wet and does well the rest of the day. Personally, I think it would be helpful no matter the length, thickness or weight of your hair....you just lessen or add based on your own hair.I really like this and will continue its use. I shall also check and see if Mr. Lamas makes other products. I can only hope.
