Holsters the long tools
Notice this holster has a punched hole, so it can be hung on a peg board or nail head. Grab the holsdered tools you need for the job, clip them on your belt, and get working. I am ordering more of this holster; each dedicated to its own tool. With some careful application of moisture and patience, these holsteres can become customized to provide the perfect snug fit for a hand tool. Besides the sturdy metal clip, I am considering stringing 3 different holsters from this manufacturer on a dedicated belt; for my most common job; gardening.

Good leather hand pruner carry case
Fit my fiskars 1" hand pruners very well. Has a belt clip and belt thread loops. Recommend oiling or moisturizing leather when you receive to preserve and water proof.

They seem to be a good value but time will tell
I put them in service this week. I am a professional in the green industry. I use Bahco pruners and they didn't fit at first. I had to really work them in at first. I decided to wet the leather, then the pruners slid right in and they now holster has formed to the pruners once it dried. The leather is a lot thinner than my last pair with less rivets. The clip is very strong/tight when sliding it over your pants. There is no way these will fall off. They seem to be a good value but time will tell. I will update the review after I put some miles on them. They are made in Taiwan.4/13/2018 Update:The holster has held up great since the first review. I use/wear them 4-5 days a week. I would buy them again tomorrow if needed. The leather has darkened up and broken in nice. The rivets and clip are still in great shape and tight.

This can save you from Stitches.
I bought this because I had been carrying my pruner in my pocket and I bent down one day to pull a weed and the blade went into my wrist. After getting stitches and a doctor bill, I bought this and I think it is great. The metal clip is strong and it fits both my Gomboy hand saw and my pruner. I can now have a safe place to hold them as I do my trimming. Switching back and forth from the saw to the pruners.

OK, could be better with a little more production effort.
Actually not quite 100% happy with this purchase, but happy enough to keep it after I modify the product. What I noticed first off is that while the listing makes it SEEM the item is made in Israel (the listing goes on about the kibbutz etc and even shows a product label in Hebrew), the item is actually made in Taiwan! I've attached a picture of the actual product SKU label.A bit disappointing, frankly.Secondly, as other reviewers have noted, the bottom end of the rivet that is used to secure the belt clip to the leather is jagged and sticks up from the leather so far that prevents smooth insertion and extraction of a tool into and out of the sheath. (I’ve attached a picture showing the inside)It’s incomprehensible to me why the designer of the sheath did not specify that the TOP (or smooth) side of the rivet be used on the inside of the sheath. That would be such an easy fix. It would necessitate that the clip be affixed BEFORE the top and outer and inner leather pieces are sewn together, but would likely completely solve the problem. To fix the problem, I will (for now) simply cover the offending rivet with a small piece of duct tape. If that fails to stay put, I'll drill out the rivet and replace it with my own - with the smooth side inside.Lastly, while the idea of the top "hole" (inverted T, if you will) is good (you can hang the sheath on the wall when not in use), it's too large and would be better if it were simply round, with a metal grommet, similar to a grommet you'll find on the corner of a tarp.Right now, it;'s too big and makes the leather piece between belt loop and the hold too narrow, while will likely result in failure in the not too distant future.A big pro is that like another reviewer noted, you need not "lock" your pruner when inserting. Simply squeeze shut, insert and let go. The added force of the springs will further ensure that the tool stays put.All in all not bad, but for the price I expected better.

Top of the line quality
Nice Quality. Beautiful finish - almost hate to put dirty pruning shears in it. Clip and belt loop threading is a clever and useful touch. Pruners we have go in a bit snug, but I suspect the holster will soften a bit with use. Snug fit help in keeping the pruners from accidentally falling out.

Perfect Function
At least it is for me. I used to stuff my Felco pruner in my pocket after locking them closed and make the best of it working around the yard. Got this holster and I think it’s sweet. No need to lock the pruner closed. Just shove it in the holster. Give it a slight squeeze when you want to extract it and it’s ready to use. Perfectly functional.

Clip and belt cutouts = more versatility
The sturdy metal clip between the belt cut-outs means you can wear these with coveralls, or pants and a belt. Felco 2's fit like a glove. The somewhat oddly-shaped Fiskars bypass pruner does too. The leather thickness is just right - stout enough for years of use, but not so thick you feel like there's a cow hanging off your hip.
