Redi Shade No Tools Original Room Darkening Pleated Paper Shade Gray, 48" W x 72" L, 6 Pack

We got these for our new house. It's our first house and a bit of a fixer upper so we knew buying blinds and curtains right off the bat wouldn't be a good use of our money.These fit the bill perfectly and also block a TON of light! You can see the difference in my photo. It's amazing how dark and cool these blinds keep our house. And we live in the desert!! They were also easy to cut with an exacto knife.We did have to tape 3 of them with frog tape, which is a bummer, but we've been in the house for 1.5 months and they're all still attached, even the ones we didn't have to tape.We learned that after you cut them down to size at the bottom, they will settle and shift so you will have to cut them again. In some windows we've had to cut 3 times because of settling but it's not too big of a pain. They're great temporary blinds. If the sticky part worked great and if they came in other colors, I'd consider using them permanently for smaller windows.Awesome value!

These are amazing! We have a sunroom that doubles as a guest room. We don’t want permanent window blinds in the room. We also have a lot of windows (9 windows and a sliding glass door) so window treatments would get very pricey! One of my neighbors had these paper blinds and I was intrigued. I bought some and I am convinced these are the best thing ever! I measured the windows, then marked and cut through the blinds when folded up, with a razor knife. The adhesive is very sticky but I did have to take one off and put it back as it was crooked, and was able to do so. They look very nice...from a distance you can’t tell they are paper.They do come with clips, but we bought some so we could match the color of the blinds, as the ones that came with it were white, and we bought the gray shades. I wanted something to help block out light when it was used as a guest room but not black.My neighbor uses these full time and replaces them when they get dusty (every six months or so since she has white ones). We only need them when we have company, so it is a great deal for us!You can see in the picture that one is down and the one next to it is clipped up.

I recently purchased a new home and it did not have window coverings. I ordered blinds from another company and the manufacture and install was going to take a 6 weeks. I saw this product on Amazon and figured it was a good solution. The product arrived in two days without special shipping. These products are easy to install with a step stool or small ladder if you are height challenged like myself. They are easy to trim to fit and are fairly durable.Living in the Southwest the average indoor temp in my home is about 90. Not using AC, after installing these paper blinds, the temp was reduced. I highly recommend this product. The only concern was I needed 7 and they come in packages of 6. I used butcher paper for the 7th window and it's fine. However, the paper does not compare to the efficiency of this product.I do not work for the manufacturer or any related industry. This is my honest opinion and YMMV. I believe you will be satisfied with this product as a temporary solution to uncovered windows. I will post an update if there are any negative issues with this product. So far, none.

My guest room gets light from the street lamp and the morning sun. Despite having sheers over the window and drapes being drawn, light was still coming through. So, I ordered these to go on the inside trim and they performed as I needed them to. It also blocks out the warm summer sun. The windows are near the A/C vent and after a few hours, dryed out the adheasive and the shade fell down. I added 2 small pieces of 2-sided, heavy duty tape to each end at the top of the shade and that did the trick. 6 shades in the package makes it a great deal! I was able to use some in other rooms that needed to block the summer sun.

I've purchased these before in a store at a cheaper price. I'm not sure this is a branded product. There is no packaging whatsoever around the shades, and clips are not included (as advertised). Also, they were pretty severely bent on one end. I suspect someone is buying these damaged and reselling them. I would have bought more from the store but they were out of stock, so I ended up paying considerably more for these since I really needed them -- so it's doubly disappointing for it to be an inferior product AND deceptive to boot!As for the shades themselves, this is the least expensive, quickest way to get windows covered. We used them in our garage/workshop when this summer turned unbearably hot. They are simple but genius -- you just cut to fit, and it's surprisingly easy to do. Don't expect them to adhere on their own. I ended up stapling them to the wood at the top of the window frame because they immediately fell. But what a great option for an inexpensive price.

horrible blinds! bent on one side. blotches and faded. looks horrible in the window. company should replace these. i had no choice but to put them up this way because we moved into a house with no window covering and had to get them up fast for privacy. what a waste of money ~

For what these are they do the job. Don’t expect some high quality item but rather convenience of being able to trim to the size you need and cover your windows well. The color is great, matched the dark brown stain I used perfectly. When having to put the shades up it’s a hassle to get them clipped but again for the price point it should be expected.

Amazing room darkening. Almost missed my class the next morning. Was 40minutes late for school. Without the sun coming in, you can’t tell the time. Helpful in getting better sleep. Great value too. You have extras and easy to cut to size. You just need a good exacting knife. Scissors do not work

This item is sold only in a 6-pack whereas I have only one window. I had no way out but to buy the 6-pack. A 2-pack would be understandable but a 6-pack? That is downright putting customers in a spot. The product does it's job.
