I recommend these to my patients every day!
I’m a dental hygienist and recommend the every single day! They are durable, functional and safe. They are made of higher quality materials than the big brand and just feel better longer without scratching your teeth. Most people have spaces floss simply cannot access! This is a fabulous adjunct to flossing, and for some a viable replacement.

Variety
Helpful to determine what size you need. I could only use the two smallest sizes.

I had been using the GUM conical shaped brush for awhile and hated them. I did some research for something better ...
I am considered a "period maintenance" patient because of gum recession. I have a variety of spaces between teeth from very small to large. I had been using the GUM conical shaped brush for awhile and hated them. I did some research for something better and I discovered these, made in Sweden. There is just no comparison between Tepes and the samples given away by most dentists. I use six different size brushes and get precisely the right fit for the different spaces between teeth. On that basis alone, GUM and Oral B can't compete with these. The wire is a problem for other brands. It is either to rough and can get stuck between teeth, or like Piksters, an Aussie knockoff, the wire can break while the brush is between teeth. One reviewer in Australia said he had to remove it with a needle nosed pliers! The Tepe wire is plastic coated. No pain or discomfort. The Tepes have a holder for your fingers to manipulate the brush that is unique and makes them easier to use in the back teeth without the ling handle for the GUM or Oral B.The brushes themselves are not too hard or too soft. They clean up nicely after use and can be used for longer than the Piksters, GUM and Oral B.They are a pleasure to use. If you have perio problems, these will clean the surface of a tooth below the gumline far better than flossing alone. These are the most expensive interdental brushes I've seen, and worth it.

These are good quality brushes and the sample packet is very helpful
These are good quality brushes and the sample packet is very, very helpful. I am so glad these folks offer this packet so it is possible to determine needed sizes in advance. Also, a number of interdental brushes have an antibiotic coating which presents allergy problems for many. Since it's a good idea to avoid antibiotics when possible in any case, these brushes are good for that reason as well--they do not include an antibiotic coating that may cause allergy and other problems. Finally, these brushes are manufactured in a precision manner and are quite high quality and sturdy. A study but soft brush is just what is needed. By the way, the regular brush is not too stiff. I avoid stiffer brushes but these brushes are soft while still offering sufficient stiffness. (The company offers a 'soft' set of brushes for those with sensitive mouths -- I doubt most will need these -- the ones here are great.)P.S. For those preferring some type of antibiotic treatment, I should mention I just dip these brushes in a little baking soda before use. The baking soda has an antibiotic effect and also helps clean the teeth and leaves a fresh tast.
