So far very good
I've been vacuum sealing a long time, 25 or 30 years. This is maybe my 5th unit. At tis point I'm retired and don't do a lot of it but I knew what I wanted and so far this machine fits my needs and works well.1. Self locking and unlocking; no pushing down on the corners and never sure it's locked.2. Set-able vacuum and seal times3. Vacuum indicator. If you have a tiny leak it shows here.4. A good wide, or in this case a double seal strip. This double seal is beautiful.5. Not too tall for where I keep it.6. Not a crazy amount of money, but not a cheapie; you get what you pay for.I use pre-made bags in two sizes, and two sizes of bag material in dispenser boxes with cutters.I seal for freezer storage although I just bought a sous-vide unit.I'm a happy customer so far.

Defective unit
unit failed to turn on. upon plugging the unit in it emitted 2 clicks from the back half of the unit. I positioned the bag with food, closed the lid, and pushed the on button...nothing happened and all lights remained out. I pushed the dry food button which is supposed to start the sequence,,,I pushed the dry food button...I pushed the dry food button for the third or maybe it was the with time figuring it was a computer so surely it would eventually give me a different answer. I then pushed all buttons trying for a response. the buttons are difficult to press. you must press very hard to feel a click. contacted support, gave me a return label. i checked youtube for instructions and the one they got for review had the same problem. a joke.

It’s a bit big but dose so much better than any ones I have tried

Crap no power to suction out properly
So unhappy. Shouldn’t take 20 minutes to suction air out. I’ve just missed return window with amazon. So very disappointed. I spent a lot expecting a lot out of it. Do NOT BUY. Purchased a ton of meat to freeze and a vacuum sealer which does not suction air out.

It was a piece of crap.
It did not heat up or seal. I had to return it. Do not buy this garbage
