Kohler Paper Towel Holder with Weighted Base, Tension Loop, Quick One Handed Tear, (Fits Standard and Oversized Rolls), Charcoal

The Kohler paper towel holder truly works. One hand to pull and tear a towel. Never fails, even with the cheapo store-brand towels we use. The weighted base is so sturdy, it never tips over. It is much easier to clean than my old wire holder. Looks lovely on the kitchen counter. I put this in my cart a couple years ago, was hesitant because of the cost, but now I wish I had bought it sooner. I’ll be giving these as presents to my friends and family this Christmas. Beautiful and highly functional design from the fantastic Kohler company in Wisconsin.

I was initially reluctant to switch from a traditional paper towel dispenser mounted under the kitchen cabinet immediately above my faucet to a counter-top paper dispenser. But after renovating my kitchen with a Kohler sink and faucet along with new cabinetry and subway tile backsplash, I couldn't see "messing up the look" with an under cabinet mounted towel dispenser above my faucet. So I took my contractor and cabinet maker's advice and purchased this Kohler Towel Holder with Weighted Base.Much to my delight, the Kohler towel holder with a weighted base is very stable on the countertop, and the roll of Bounty Paper Towels doesn't fall over or present any difficulties when I tear-off a sheet of paper towel. Equally important, the Kohler Towel Holder doesn't clutter the quartz countertop, and with its slimish profile in white, actually adds a bit of elegance to the overall appearance of the kitchen sink area. I'm very pleased with my decision to switch from a hanging paper towel holder to this Kohler countertop model manufactured to this company's acclaimed high quality standards.

I have had many paper towel holders over the years. This is my new favorite. It is sturdy, but no too heavy. It is easy to get one paper towel off the roll without taking too many. It is not overly large so it takes up just enough space on our kitchen island! It is so simple, but by far the best I have ever owned.

Very clean design and functional. I like that it is stainless and not made of other metal that can rust. The base has enough weight to hold it in place when in use and the bottom is entirely clad in non-slip rubber. The top of the base is rubber as well, however it would look nicer had it been made of ceramic or stainless. The towels do a good job of staying in place due to the funnel shape which is a nice feature.As an FYI-Be aware the description “Charcoal” means Gray. I was under the impression it would be Black as in the pictures.

A little expensive for something simple, but the quality stands up to the price.Bought a cheap one (big box store brand) in the past and it rusted on the base from being near the sink. The base of this is not metal so I will never have to worry about rusting there.The holder uses the base to keep the roll wound as you go through the roll it steps down to the next step. Its also quite easy to grab as many sheets as you need and tear them off with one hand.I will look into more Kohler kitchen products in the future after the quality and satisfaction with this.

Looked long and hard for a freestanding towel holder. Finally found this one and it’s perfect! Nice weight, attractive design and simple to load! I added a large diameter furniture/floor protector to the bottom to avoid water buildup. Definitely recommend!

The media could not be loaded.  Excellent holder.Tears easily.I thought I'd need a holder with a spring support to tear easily.But this holder does the trick using the design of the bottom plate.It holds a Costco large roll nicely.Tears single sheet easily, down to the last sheets.It simply works.Love it.The only criticism I have is that the product was in a plastic bag, inside the shipping box, without any cushion or bubble wrap. Risk of damaging the product during shipment.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Just a simple paper towel holder that doesn't take up a lot of space, is easy to put new towels in, is sturdy, will last, and the most important feature of all -having a weighted bottom. The only downside is I hate how expensive it is to get a chunk of bent metal stabbed into a round piece of plastic with silicone on the bottom. Since things rarely end up looking good when I try to get artsy and make my own things, I thought it best to pick this up for the $20.

Very modern and clean looking. The base has a nice weight to it, so I don’t have to worry about it moving when I pull off a section of paper towel. The base is also nice and smooth so it doesn’t scratch my stone counter. It fits my Bounty triple rolls. I looked at A LOT of paper towel holders and I am so happy I picked this one!
