All my nerite snails were ok my rabbit snails were a little flustered and my bacteria was upset a little after day 5 of using this product. Once I dechlorinated water everything was fine. Great product. But be careful and NEXT TIME I USE IT I WILL TEST WATER EVERYDAY instead of after 5 days. Also I talked to Mardel and was told that purigen could still be used during treatment so carbon should be fine too. I was really excited to not have to take my carbon out. I was always concerned with killing off my bacteria so I would never treat the whole tank with anything. But all in all with some oversight it is a great product.

This is NOT an antibiotic, unfortunately I could not read the label on my phone screen! When the product arrived I was disappointed in the misleading name but since I bought it I decided to use it. The product will help in some cases but will mess up sensitive fish. When I put about half the prescribed dose it in my tank and my Kuhli loaches went nuts trying to get out of the tank. I stopped using it at this point. It also distressed some of the other fish. The main ingredient is SODIUM CHLORITE which has a dual use as a disinfectant. Also note that the antidote is the same chemical you use to dechlorinate water!!! It did not affect my mollys but due to the way some of my fish reacted, I won't use it again.
