Received product as described. Can't verify authenticity of HEPA filtering, no certification printed on box.But as a filtering source it looks like it would do just fine. No complaints really, at the price.

As Advertised
Always challenging trying to buy replacement parts, especially if a different brand or after-market item. These replacement items fit perfectly and seem to provide the same quality as the original more expensive brand. Definitely one of the better on-line buys.

Slightly different than advertised
So, these filters are not exactly the same as the OEM ones they replace. The HEPA filters we recieved seem to have their own secondary dust fabric filter over the intake side of the filter, that's in addition to the other charcoal filter that goes in front that came in the box. The charcoal filters are slightly slimmer than OEM. If anything, this filter fits slightly better into the unit slightly better than the old one.Will try to update in a year; may cut open one of these hepa filters once it is replaced to compare with oem filter. (I cut up the old OEM one here to see how it's constructed and will save a piece of it for comparison to this one when this new one has to be replaced.)

Clueless as to it's effectiveness for HEPA compared to Manufacturer's HEPA.
This is an after-market product that claims it's HEPA filter is as effective as the original WINIX manufacturer's brand. Ther seems to be no way to tell or prove this claim. I hope it is as good at filtering as the original.

I had this for at least five years and it works very well. It’s on all the time I have four dogs, so it really close the house and helps with the dog her.

Works as expected, no issues, pet odor thing seems legit
I'm using this carbon/HEPA filter set in a Winix 6300. It's been a long time since I've used actual Winix-branded filters in my air purifier because, let's be honest, they cost too much. I think they sell the machine cheap and try to get you on the refills.So, this isn't my first time using other brands of filters. I don't have air testing kits so I can't say with 100% certainty, but these seem to be doing the job just as well as the last brand I used. The air sensor on my Canary home security camera isn't reporting any air quality problems at least. The HEPA filter fits into the Winix 6300 snugly. So does the carbon filter.As for the claims about the HEPA filter having a coating that helps with pet odor, it could just be in my head but it does seem to be true. My wife and I picked up two kittens that had been abandoned. They were having stomach issues and their poop stank. It could just be that they're getting better, but the odor doesn't seem to spread as much in the apartment now that we're running this new HEPA filter. The air purifier is close to where the litter box is.I will definitely buy from this company again.
