I purchased this hair mask a few days ago on the recommendation of my long-time hair stylist, in hopes of keeping my locks healthy after a duo balayage color treatment. My first impression of the product was it's scent- a very natural, pleasant smell that is noticeable after rinsing without overwhelming your senses. My boyfriend even complimented the scent, and he is captain oblivious. I can definitely say after my first use my hair is softer. I didn't necessarily see an improvement in shine but my hair wasn't dull to begin with. My hair goes past my shoulders, but I felt I only needed about 2/3rds the amount I normally use with deep conditioners. Left hair wrapped tightly in a hot towel for about 20 minutes, and my scalp felt amazing afterward too. It even softened my hands a little! Whether or not this product is for your hair type, it is indeed quality and worth paying a few extra bucks. ;) Just look at the ingredient list. Healthy oils, proteins, all natural. Five stars definitely recommend.

The smell isn't bothersome really. I forget exactly what it was like, but along the lines of most herbal conditioners that smell strongly of rosemary and the such. My main problem was that it was almost astringent in my hair. Instead of it moisturizing and almost lubricating the hair follicle like I'm used to, it felt moisturized, then stripped slightly when I rinsed it. I'm not sure what happened, but I do like that it is vegan, cruelty-free, and biodegradable.

I purchased this product because it was vegan. I have very fine, dry hair, but it very shiny most of the time. I wanted softer hair, and I hoped this would do the trick. First impression: The product smells okay, easy to apply, and in the shower, my hair felt a lot softer. After my hair dried: I was shocked to look into the mirror and seeing dull hair. It is a little softer, but it definitely weighed down by residue, and I don't understand how it took the shine away. I am going to finish this mask, but I will not be purchasing again.

i was a bit nervous buying this because i was uncertain of the smell. but once i received and opened it up (use caution!! it comes with an inside secure lid and i was a bit clumsy opening it and about a quarter of it spilled out onto my floor... woops.) it has a very nice and pleasant clean scent. although, i wouldn't recommend it to those with a sensitive nose. :-) i used some of the stuff that had spilled onto my floor and put it on my hair, and it was insta-soft.

Although it has no artificial fragrance and although the scent is pleasant at first, with so many flowery essences, I couldn't sleep with this in my hair as it was too strong and overpowering.My hair looks weighed down, oily and stringy with this in. But, I think that may be my fault for using too much.

It was a little hard to rinse out but it did a wonderful job on my hair! I have been letting my hair go naturally gray and it has changed the way I have to treat it. This made my hair soft but not to soft that I could not style it as some deep conditioning products do.

This hair mask is great! It smells amazing and it really leaves your hair looking super soft and shiny. Although I suggest leaving it in and washing it out with shampoo. When I followed the instructions of putting it on after washing my hair looked a little oily, but I re-washed it the next day and my hair looked super soft, shiny, and smelled incredible .

Left my hair greasy and filmy. Not what I was hoping for.
