Works great for me. Totally natural. Trees dogs plants people all fine. Mosquitos didn’t make it.
I was unsure with a mix of reviews online and skeptical of the idea that one natural product would work. But it was reasonably priced and believed it wouldn’t hurt our dog, plants, fireflies and other critters we love. And if it works against Dracula it’s gotta work. I bought the smaller bottle and a pump pressure spray separately for $12. It’s been very hot and muggy for days and days to come, so it was the perfect time to apply. The product comes in a nice sturdy commercial bottle, and is inside a ziplock type bag. That’s smart, as any drop or leak will leave a stain of odor, but I was glad to see and smell that the product had muscle to it. Definitely open and mix outdoors, The garlic smell is huge and lingers in your head, and you may think the house will smell like it forever, but it goes away before you know it. Mixed about 3-4 shots of the garlic juice with a gallon of water in the sprayer applicator. (By the way, taking the sprayer apart to clean is essential, but it’s the most garlic intense moments of all. If inside, run the water slowly washing the outside of the sprayer, then fill it up and let it spray out water until empty.) I was ready to apply, so I did. I had the sprayer set to a strong mist, not too misty or wind will just take it away. I just kept it on spray as I walked around the perimeter of backyard. It’s a mix of bushes, flowers and tall plants. Spray from the ground up otherwise you’ll be under a mist of garlic. And the key is to push the applicator through the leaves, turning it to coat 360 around the leaves. It actually starts to be quite fun. I did my entire backyard and went ahead and did the front set of bushes too. I did this at 6:30 pm while mosquitos were out. You want them there to see and be seen by the sprayer. It certainly agitated them, as they came out from everywhere. Wear long stuff at least the first time. Once done with the front, I walked to backyard. It really smelled like intense garlic, neighbors must have thought I was cooking something horrible, but who cares, this benefits them too. After about 1 hour the odor started to dissipate, the mosquitos were less dense but I was still unsure. Next day I got up when mosquitos would be up, around 6am and there was no smell of garlic, trees and grass were alive and well and the dog was clueless. But, mosquitos were there. Product says to do it 2-3 times. I did it again, much faster. Mosquitos agitated but not as many. Good sign. This time I was done in 15 minutes, and kinda fun, familiar smell. Came back from work, my wife was in the backyard with the dog. Both enjoying the time, no garlic smell and she says she hasn’t been bitten at all. I do see a few as I walk around, but am super impressed. I saw it worked, so I was inspired to do another round. Being an expert applicator now, I did it while my wife grilled. Even asked if the steak needed a spritz of garlic...I thought it was funny. Applied, done, ready for dinner. Ate inside. Had dessert in the backyard, no garlic smell, no citronella candles, and zero mosquitos. Fireflies? Yes, plenty. It works for my yard I walk the dog around the block and there are lots of mosquitos, but we come back to our yard and it’s mosquito free. I’m writing this from my backyard, its been a week and still good, I’m sure I’ll apply again in a week or two, as I start to miss the garlic mist.

Mosquito barrier spray
I think this works pretty good but it's definitely a strong garlic odor. I need to get out and apply this more often but it's been so hot and having to cover an acre is a job I'm just not too keen on doing. It did seem to work ok but my granddaughter still got bit up.

This stuff works!!
I have tried so many things to repel mosquitoes. I’m one of those people who get eaten alive if there are any mosquitos around. Where I live we have day biting Asian tiger mosquitoes, so there are no breaks when you are outside. I couldn’t go outside at all, day or night! It was absolutely unbearable. This stuff solved that problem altogether! We don’t get a lot of rain, so I only have to spray a few times a year, and it seems to keep the mosquitoes away form my house for months at a time if there isn’t rain. As soon as I see one, I spray again, and they go away. They hate the smell of it, but I can only smell it the first day. It’s absolutely the only thing that has worked!

Garbage
this product is straight garbage. I sprayed it all around my trees all over my porch on the roof of my porch on the inside and I’m watching the mosquitoes just jump around and continue to land on it. the smell doesn’t make them not wanna come near you or anything like that I’m literally sitting here on my porch right now two days later and I counted 25 mosquitoes on my window that I sprayed down with the garlic stuff, about two days ago …. Don’t waste your $40

Jury is still out
I have used this product for a couple of summers on our Asian tiger mosquitoes. I thought it did ok - meaning, that it seemed to keep mosquito numbers down for a week or so. I will say that I only used a pump sprayer the first time. Tt clogged several times during the application to my small, 50'x100' property (minus the area taken up by house, deck and shed). So I switched to using a hose-end sprayer. MUCH quicker. I assumed it was as effective.Fast-foward to this summer: we have our worst mosquito problem in my 12 summers at this house. One can see them swarm our legs (and our cat). So I called the company and they recommend I go back to a pump sprayer because hose-end sprayers are actually inaccurate in how they mix and distribute the contents. They also recommend a higher concentration, plus adding some vegetable oil and soap to help it stick to plants. To overcome the clogging issue, they told me to strain it through a coffee filter or cheesecloth. So I tried this last night and don't yet know how effective it was. Here's the problem I see: they recommend a pump sprayer but make a product that clogs them. And the instructions tell us to shake the bottle before using, which stirs up the contents (adding the clogging issue). On the phone, I'm told to filter it. This takes time - a good 30 minutes to filter 16 ounces through a coffee filter. It was perfectly clear when I was done and the sprayer didn't clog. But I find it disappointing that the product is not already filtered.
