Quality organic black gram (urad dal)
This 4-pound (1.82-kilo) package of urad dal does look good quality (uniform hulled legumes with very little visible impurity) and is indeed labeled organic on the back Ingredients section. (See photos.)

Incorrect product description
Amazon product description “Organic Urad Dal Whole-“ is INCORRECT. Package actually contains “URAD WHITE SPLIT deskinned black gram split” (photo1 ). But another package label says “Organic Urad Dal Whole - White Matpe Beans - Whole Lentils -USDA Certified Organic -“ (photo2). If MANTRA allows multiple discrepancies are their other claims: “USDA certified organic” “Pesticide Free” correct?
