I needed to hang really heavy curtains (blackout curtains with added black-out fabric sewn on), the rings had no problem bearing the weight.I bought 2 packs to do one room with 2 windows. One window was 36 inches across and the other was 72 inches. I used 10 rings on the small window and 18 on the larger window. They were about 6-8 inches apart and worked nicely. At first I thought there had to be a catch, how could these rings be so inexpensive? But i was pleasantly surprised at the quality of these. This is a great product, at a fantastic price. They arrived quicker than I expected. I'm beyond pleased with this product and this seller. Will definitely order more in the future.Have used these clips for my 3 year olds curtains, they have lasted over a year and still continue to hold up despite the tugs from my kids! Just ordered 2 more sets of these, great product!

It was a struggle finding affordable window treatments for my very long living room window. Finding these rings was perfect. They were incredibly affordable, and packaged well-- no scratches. Some of the clips were a little tight to open initially as previous reviews stated, but it was no issue. No tools required to open, and they have been holding my drapes firmly for 6 months now, with some clips even holding double thickness with no issue. I spaced these approximately 5 inches apart per some other online advice, and I like the look, so be sure and measure to know how many rings you'll need!

These curtain clip rings are flat brushed nickel so they matched my rods. They are sturdy, thicker than most clip rings and didn't break when I attached them to the drapes. The fabric I used was light weight, but I think the rings would hold medium weight fabric just as well. The only thing that might bother someone, was that you can see the weld line lightly on the ring. I just turned the ring so the line was under the clip. Very nice - I would buy again. Also, I sewed heavy cotton twill tape strips about 2 inches long & folded in half and placed every 4-5 inches on the top hem back side only (not sewed through to drapery fabric so didn't show. This allowed me to hide the clip behind the curtain header. Nice clean look.

I bought these hooks for putting on heavy cotton duck fabric I sewed into 2 curtain panels and used a electrical pipe 1" and secured to our deck framing, to hang these onto. We get some strong wind sometimes, and I slide these panels back and forth, and so far these rings have gripped well. When not in use, I pull them to the side and secure them as seen in this pic. Our house faces the west, and sometimes the sun gets too bright on our deck when we want to sit out there, and this was our best option. I highly recommend these hooks. Easy to put on, they just grip! Rings were large enough for this 1" metal pipe.

I am an animal about interior design, and I have exceptionally high standards. I ordered 4 of these sets, they are as described; Satin finish black. 1.5" internal dimension. 1.75" external dimension. While true they they have a barely visible split, they are sealed closed. I tried to open them, to no avail. They should not cause any visual discrepancies or damage to the rod or curtain. I received every single ring in perfect condition. Each individual ring came in a small, plastic, zippered bag, and packed neatly as sets into small, sturdy boxes. THEN into it's shipping box. I'm very pleased with the quality of this product and the seller "Anello" who provides it. Thank you for being literally THE 1 and only item in my current project that came WITHOUT my needing to adjust, paint, repair, sand, clean, return, or have the slightest complaint about! 90% of the population expects premium quality, without the premium price tag. These rings provide just that! I can actually unpack and hang each drapery ring, right out of the box! I'll be purchasing more in the near future!

We fastened a metal cable to our outdoor gazebo and wanted drop clothes to hang. We did not want normal curtains, because we would have to remove the cable each time we needed to wash them. So we are using drop clothes, but needed something to hold them and be able to slide back and forth on the cable. The following day after we installed them, there were winds and I thought for sure the drop clothes would be all over the back yard, but this clips with rings held on. They work amazing. Great product for the price.

I started by trying 1 set on some heavy drapes that cover my sliding patio door. I open and close these drapes every day and needed clips that were strong enough but not so rough that they would punch and tear my drapes.These worked so well I ordered a second set for the rest of the patio door. The ring is smooth and well fitted together, no gaps or burs that would scratch my drapery rod. The clips themselves bite deeply enough to the top edge of the drape that I had to fold over to keep them off the floor.I am careful with this clip design when I open and draw the drapes. I don't pull my drapes down when moving them. I lift and take the tension off the clips and rod to avoid the drape slipping out or bending the rod.

I ordered several sets of these in the satin nickel color. Whatever coating they use to give it the "satin" effect is basically like glue, and most of the clips were stuck shut. I had to pry them open with a small screwdriver before the clips would work. The same glue-like substance was a bit uneven in places on the rings, but you can't tell once they're up. They are functional and look nice from across the room, but were a bit of a pain to use and seem a little cheaply made. I guess you get what you pay for.
