Made in America? I hope not.
Ordered Thermostat for my Nexia system when the American Standard product arrived I had a hunch it would not work as I am familiar with the unreliable quality of American Standard products. This solidifies my impression of anything made by American Standard is of the lowest quality.

So far so good
So far so good, no issues yet, I've just intalled it and I'm happy with the results. I'll give it some time , then I'll post a better review.!!

Trane and Nexia are ANTI-GREEN, 55 Degree Minimum setting
This post regards Nexia and Trane's arbitrary minimum setting of 55 degrees. I've read all the crap about the minimum requirements of furnace manufacturers. This is a bogus, false argument for several reasons:1) Other thermostats have no arbitrary minimum temp setting. I just built a new home, and my Honeywell thermostats can be set at any temp you wnat.2) what if I use this in my garage with a shop heater. 50 degrees is fine for working in the shop and my shop heater manual has no "min temp".3) My cottage in northern Wisconsin has 3 floors, with each having its own zone and thermostat. Even if I had a Trane Furnace (which I don't), and I kept the basement at 55, why do you think you should dictate to me what temp I should keep the 2nd and 3rd floors. We only use it a few weekends during the whole winter.I know I can turn it off. But that is not the point. I want to set it at the temp I want. Nexia should not be acting like a socialist government and telling us what "is best" for us.REMOVE THE MINIMUM SETTING AND STOP WASTING ENERGY!!!Thank you for your kind consideration.

buyer beware: not able to monitor remotely without paying a $9.99/month fee
The description advertises that it is remotely monitorable via the Nexia platform, but there's fine print, and they charge $9.99/mo for this service. Kind of a rip-off. Am returning this.
