Gingher5 in. Knife Edge Craft Scissors

These are high quality scissors, that are extremely sharp.I went from an old pair of kitchen scissors to these and let me tell you. WOW! What a difference.I have no issues going through material with a clean cut everytime. I'll never use another pair.

These are wonderful scissors! I bought them because I got a pair of gingher sewing shears as a gift and loved the way they cut. I needed some shorter blades for craft and was delighted to find these. They cut all the way to the point and are very precision sharp! I cut some nasty old vinyl off a chair to reupholster it, no problem whatsoever. Just as a good, I tried to cut the 2 inch high density foam I was using with them and they went through it like butter! Very impressed, and will be buying all my scissors from gingher in the future!

As a sewist making handbags and wallets, I need to frequently trim thick materials. Layers of fabric, interfacting, foam, and other stabilizers can be extremely tough to cut with ordinary scissors. I had read about these scissors from other sewists, who love them for tough material, and these do a wonderful job. They have slightly larger handles than the regular 5" knife edge sewing scissors, and a thicker blade to keep them aligned. I would love to find a 7" in this style!

I like that they are sharp I use them for sewing. I’m a quilter.

I recently lost my 20 year old Gingher tailor points and I was lost without them. I really couldn't tell from the photograph if these were even close to what I had lost especially since my lost ones had black painted handles. Was so glad when they arrived and were EXACTLY what I was missing. They are light weight and super sharp. I have yet to go wrong with purchasing any Gingher scissors. Well worth the cost.

I always have a couple of pairs of the these scissors. In fact, I ordered because I had lost a pair. They are very sharp and small enough to do good precise cutting an trimming.

These are sturdy and sharp. Perfect for appliqué. I wish I had bought them sooner!
