Great shelving unit for livingroom, bedroom or garage.
TOP TIP - IF YOU HAVE NO RUBBER MALLET USE A SMALL PIECE OF WOOD. I had no rubber mallet so used a small piece of 1 by 2 wood which I placed on the metal shelving before whacking into place with a hammer. If you do this on a rug/carpet you'll put most of it together on your own. You make two separate parts and then attach them together by the metal clips provided. You can actually have two small units although you'd need 8 more plastic guards for the top. When attaching the two separate shelving units you will need an extra hand. It is possible to do this on your own if your strong enough to hold the weight but be careful. From time to time the metal clips might slip through to the outside. If this happens, you can easily pull/push the clip back through by using a small piece of wood then hitting it with an hammer. You can then use the wood to bend the clip so that it passes through the middle of the slot and is secure. Do NOT assume you can allow some of the clips to just rest on the outside, this will snap the clips and the shelving will collapse. Once the unit is together and ALL clips are neatly connected into place, the shelving unit is fantastic and although 175 kg is possible, you'd need stronger MDF to prevent sagging. You will not be buying this to hold car engines but it will take a small fishtank and obviously even bigger lizard and reptile tanks. Whatever you use them for you will tidy things up and actually be able to find things and be more productive.Fantastic for any hobbyists. A place for everything and everything in its place. Second unit I have purchased and latest one put together in 20 mins. (first one took a few hours)The galvanised units are just as good but tend to get dusty and need polishing. The coloured units look great, good enough for living rooms, bedrooms and obviously garages and sheds. Because the shelves are adjustable you can can custom build it to suit your needs. The paint job really is a good one. I was surprised at the quality. One other tip, when you attach the two separate parts together you use 4 metal clips which secure the two shelving units together. IF your clip goes on the outside, you can use a small screw driver to hold the metal clip in the bottom shelving unit. Otherwise it might slip and you might get a bit too bossy with that kitchen paper covered hammer.I told you to use a small piece of wood! All in all the shelving units are cleverly designed and even if your DIY skills are pretty poor you'll get it up eventually and whether it takes 30 mins or half the day, use some wood to cushion the blow. If you have a rubber mallet, congratulations, your already ahead of the game as most of us have no rubber mallet. I suspect those who snap the actual clips on this are using way too much force. One last tip, you will have five pieces of metal which fit in the middle of the shelving units to secure the MDF shelves. This needs the small protruding metal clip at the end pushed over to 45 degrees. This enables it to slot into place using the slots provided. As always, make sure those clips pass through the centre of the slot and do not protrude on the outside.Tools needed: Hammer, small piece of wood, small screwdriver (to rebend clips if needs arise) and a few cups of tea. Patience also. Gloves would help but I never used any.Holes on the top of the shelving unit so you can secure the unit to the wall. This might be a good idea if you have kids around. Rugrats soon learn how to climb and obviously, any weight up there could topple down. Secure if there is any chance a child might stray.

Perfect aquarium stand
Obviously this unit is aimed at garage storage but it's high load capacity of 175kg per shelf made it ideal for placing my aquarium and equipment on. I painted the mdf shelf the aquarium was on to stop water swelling the panel. No tools required (though a flat blade screwdriver comes in handy to guide prongs if required) to assemble, simply slots together. Very sturdy once support brackets are placed per shelf. Great value, looks good and I would recommend.

Extremely sturdy and an amazing price
Where to start with these. I bought 2 lots of shelving for my shed and the sizes were spot on. As you can see in the picture they both fit snug which was amazing (I bought 2) The shelves come with instructions that are really easy to understand, it took me around 20 minutes to build the first set of shelves then the 2nd around 5 minutes. They’re extremely sturdy once built.2 pieces of advice.1. Use a rubber mallet2. Build the shelves bottom to up. Don’t build half and half and then connect them. It’s a one man/woman job.I screwed them to the wall inside my shed and they’re not going anywhere and they can take so much weight as I have all my tools on them and they don’t move. For the price and ease of assemble I would 100% recommend them. I may even buy more for the storage inside my house.

Lightweight shelves
Due to the instructions being tucked between the shelves I found them after I'd put the bottom half together. It would have made things a bit easier to have had them in a prominent place but it was easy to do without them because they weren't that detailed. I am disabled but even though advice was given for two people to erect the shelves, I managed perfectly well alone. It's as well to check the height of the shed door (or wherever you are putting it) before fixing the top half as I did. It was easy to take the top half in then move the bottom half inside then put the top half on when it's inside. I can't say the shelves look too strong so I'd advise not overloading them. It's adequate for my purposes.

Excellent product for the price
I needed shelves for my garage to store the usual stuff you have in a garage. These shelves were perfect. Very easy to assemble and a good quality finished item. I am sure that you could overload them and if you need to store heavy items you will need to go for a heavier grade but for the price these will do the job for the majority.I did put a question to the seller and he responded within 48 hours. This product has my recommendation as does the seller.

Excellent
I was a little sceptical after reading some reviews for this item, however it arrived quickly before the stated day and well packaged. It was easy to set up, I didn't need to use a rubber mallet like some say, just a good tap with the palm of my hand then others parts I used the handle of my claw hammer just to quickly tap the pieces together. Overall real easy to set up and doing a great job proudly standing in my shed.

Easy and assemble and do the bob well
I assembled these pretty quickly and a lone woman! Its was way and straightforward and they are exactly what i needed to try to organise my garage! The shelves are plywoood and i don't imagine you would want to overload them but for general garage clutter they do the job. Its nice you can have the shelves where you want and also that you could organise as 2 units if you wanted more low level space rather than one tall unit.

Great value
I’ve had it a few moths now in the shed and it’s pretty good. Great value for the money.
