Q: Is this easy to slide in and out, is it suitable for larger dogs

You have to be quite careful when opening and closing as it can catch your fingers sometimes. Suitable for big dogs I would say as it is quite strong and heavy but I have only used it with elderly 10 kg size dogs.

Q: Is this suitable for steps into the house? i have a large labradoodle. also, are the dimensions correct at 178cm full extended?

I have just taken the ramp and fully extended it in the garden and leaned it onto our back door step and it was ok, but I couldn't vouch for how it would sit on multiple steps as we only have 1. The ramp fully extended was 157cm. It is quite sturdy and would need to be to take the dog's weight as he is a Serbian Mountain dog, so he's pretty big!! I wouldn't say the ramp is lightweight as it's metal, but it's certainly compact when folded.

Q: We have a pick up truck and it doesn’t seem to fit quite well on the tailboard is there a safe way of doing that and we have a gravel stoned driveway

I did not fix mine to truck but held handle at the side which also helped for quickly folding it away again

Q: May I enquire about replacement clasp/fastner, as the little plastic strap of thia closing device broke after about 7 or 8 uses
