We tried a few silicone place mats and this one for the price and usability was the best. It is big and covers a large area of the table and the catch tray collects so much food from falling, plus our baby was able to eat food out of it. It’s easy to cleanup, we’d throw it in the dish washer. It’s clean looking and nice and thick.

I've been using this placemat for a few months now and I still love it. It doesn't suction to the table but it does stick to the table so it doesn't slide around. My little one can pull it up but I already expected that because nothing really suctions well enough to stand up to a determined baby. I do love the food catching tray that hangs over the edge of the table. It works perfectly to keep almost all of his dropped food from landing on the floor. It's great for minimizing messes in restaurants and keeping his food off of dirty tables. It rolls up and folds easily so it fits in the diaper bag and it's super easy to clean. I would recommend this to every parent with a baby learning to feed themselves.

We got this placemat because we needed a way to keep the food that doesn't make it into our toddler's mouth off the table as much as we could. This has been a really nice addition to mealtime...while he still manages to get food on other areas of the table and floor, this has really reduced the amount of cleanup we are doing. At the end of mealtime, we're able to roll it up and clean it off or put it in the dishwasher. Our table is finished wood so the suction isn't great, but it stays well enough and when we put his plate on it, it holds up a little more. We placed on our granite countertop for comparison and it does stick just fine there, just FYI. The food catcher hangs a little low instead of straight out, but that doesn't bother us too much...it actually works pretty nicely in keeping some of the food off his lap and catches it before it hits the floor! If the suctioning was more secure on our table, I'd give 5 stars. Overall, though, I would recommend given the size and ease of cleanup, even with the moderate suctioning on our table.

This product is AWESOME! When you put it on the table it doesn't move! I love the catch all tray which has significantly reduced the amount of food my baby drops on the floor. Im glad I opted for this product even though it was a little more expensive because it is really big. My 9 month old(who is in the 98th percentile for height) can't reach past this mat. It has made it so much easier to go out to dinner where I don't have to sanitize the table before getting her food out. When we get ready to leave, its easy to just roll the mat up, fold it in half, and secure it with the included band. The only thing that sticks to this mat is hair. A little water helps that problem though. I would definitely recommend this mat over any other!

I'm happy but not as excited as I was before receiving them. The description says they fit most high chairs...well, they don't fit mine. The top of the clouds extends 3-4" off the highchair tray. So these can't be used for eating at home...they'll be great for restaurant eating, but we eat at home way more often than we go out. We haven't used them yet because they don't fit on the tray. I know I said it already, but I'm disappointed and slightly irritated they don't fit. I was hoping these would be a great help for me, but they're not. Using them at home with the highchair would be horrible... I can see my baby pulling at the mat and making her food go everywhere...using these mats with her highchair would be worse than using no mats at all I plan to keep the mats, but I'm disappointed they don't fit...sure I could have measured my tray first, but I assumed that they'd work without issue since the ad says they fit most high chair trays On another note, they seem durable and look to be good quality. I was a little nervous about them possibly having a strong plastic smell that remained after several washes, but we cleaned them immediately after receiving them and I didn't notice any nasty plastic smell. That's definitely a bonus! I can't rate the suction power or ease of cleaning because I can't use them until we go out to eat again. However, if they can be easily wiped off with baby wipes while we're out (so I don't have to take them to the bathroom to wash them off before leaving a restaurant), I'll give them another star. I'm sure they'll be durable. I'll give 3-3.5 stars for now

Very disappointed!! The description is very misleading. The only reason I purchased this item is because it claimed to have suction which led me to believe it had suction cups to hold the placemat in place. It does not.

We bought this for our son for when we go out or travel, to try and minimize messes and also make sure he has a clean surface to eat off of. When he first used it at 9 months, he kept trying to pull it off the table and play with it, so we ended up putting it away for a couple of months. He’s now 1 year and understands that it’s not a toy. It’s really useful and we’ve had people ask where we got it when we’re out and about. I like the little edge catcher, since sometimes he’ll knock something into it that he didn’t mean to. It also really does help to keep messes contained, although not always. We used it tonight at a restaurant and while he had crumbs on his pants, there was very little on the floor underneath his high chair. We shook off the excess, wiped it off with baby wipes, and rolled it up to stuff in the diaper bag. It gets washed properly when we get home. Since it’s silicone, food doesn’t stick as much, so there’s very little scrubbing. I’m planning to buy this for three different coworkers who’ve recently had babies, unless they get something similar first.

Came completely stretched out and doesn’t flatten out. The material was stretched to fit in the packaging and it ruined the product.

It's a nice design, easy to clean and store. However we have a wooden dining table and the placemat keeps slipping towards our child. It doesn't have the necessary grip or sticking ability to ensure it stays in place so we wouldn't recommend this to others unless they devise a way to suction it to the table or add additional grip to the bade of the mat.

Firstly, the package looked like it was opened. This was likely a returned product. After trying to use and like this product for a week, I’ll probably be throwing it in the garbage. The shape of the placemats will NOT go flat. No matter what- they are curled at the corners and render them useless. Save your money!

i love this so much, it helps a lot with the mess on the floor. It also helps making our baby feel like she is eating on the table with us

Je recommande vivement! Pare un partie des dégâts sura table, l'enfant, la chaise et le sol. Il est assez large. Silicone plus épais ce d'autres que j'ai déjà vue. Reste bien en place. Se lave bien. Après plus d'un an d'utilisation quotidienne, il y a une petite déchirure dans la partie entre la table et l'enfant qui sert a rattrapéa nourriture échappé, mais elle n'a pas agrandie en un mois. Mise à jour, après 1 an d'usure assez instance, le seul bros est dans la section creuse qui est entre la table et l'enfant : 2 petites fentes sont apparues, mais n'ont pas grandi en 4 mois, le liquide peut y passerais pas le solide comme elle sont vraiment petites. Pas déçu de mon achat, on s'en sert Aix 3 repas et aux deux collations a chaque jour!
