NCMHCE Secrets Study Guide 2025-2026 - Exam Review and NCMHCE Practice Test for the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination: [2nd Edition]

When I first got this, I was overwhelmed with how thick it was. However, there are two practice tests in the back that take up a huge chunk. There is a chunk in the beginning covering ethics, which we should all know. So, sectioning those off, made me feel much better. I haven't taken my test yet, but this book has been so helpful in studying. I love the added videos as well.

This is a helpful review for the exam. I have yet to take the NCMHCE but I do feel more confident because I have this resource. I appreciate how much information is there, and the practice exam with explanations of the answers is especially valuable!

purchased Mometrix Test Preparation.I give it a 4 because I have not gotten through half of the book, but so far the material is what I expected and helpful for the exam I will be taken.

I used this book to study for my exam and PASSED on the first try. I feel like the practice questions in this book were more challenging then on the actual exam. I feel like it was definitely worth it.
