Way Basics Cat Scratching Post House Cube Scratcher (Tool-Free Assembly)

I bought this for my 15 year old cat to help her get up on the couch. All 4 sides have the scratchable cardboard. She weighs 18 pounds and this cube is very sturdy. Any my younger cat loves curling up in it! Highly recommend it!

3 of my cats can’t get enough of this. They like sneak attacking each other in it too. The 4th cat is feral and just starting to become accustomed to indoor living and learning how to play at all. I suspect in time, she will love it too. Just came by to purchase another one.Update: Cat number 4 has seen the light and loves it too. With all the attention it’s getting, it’s starting to look a bit rough & need replacing. The sale price is well worth it but the regular $40 price is too high for a scratcher.

By cat is 8 years old and he’s definitely a long cat but he likes to squeeze in anyway and sit on top of it too. It was easy to put together also.

Cats use it a lot and scratch too

Maybe I didn’t calculate it correctly but it isn’t wide enough for my lil fur babies to do what I was hoping they would do. I wanted to replace the cardboard box pedestal they have taken over and enjoy to relax on as they watch the birds.

My Nina destroyed the box within the first two weeks. Not sure if the box was poorly made or my Nina just enjoyed playing in and with the box.

My cats are sweethearts, but they do love to destroy any scratching posts I buy. I was shopping around for some sturdier posts that would last for longer than a couple of months, and I came across these cubes. For the price, I decided to buy 2 (I have 3 cats) and see how they worked.First of all, I love the no tool needed assembly! These are so easy to put together - I could put them together myself, but I had one other person assist just to help keep the walls perfectly straight when pressing the boards together.My cats adore these cubes - they love the "cave" feeling of the cubbyholes, and the wraparound scratching posts provide great access for them at any angle. If anything, I should have bought 3, because the cats tussle for the right to sit on top of the cubes!One of my family members did lose their balance near the cube and put their full weight on it, and one of the sides of the cube did buckle slightly, but maintained its shape and integrity - if it can handle the weight of a full-grown adult bearing down on it with minimal damage, it can handle anything your cat(s) can do!

Quick delivery. Although made of press board the cat loves it. Can scratch on all sides and inside. Very quick to assemble. I only wish it came with 2 sided tape to hold down on the floor as it moves easily when the cat scratches it. Needs to be held in place.

Esta muy bien por el precio, se mete a veces para dormir y se sube otras veces para rascar. Excelente combinación!

Hole not great. Flimsy and splintered, worried cat would get cut.

It supposed to come with two entry boards but only came with one. Very disappointing! Excellent quality though.

This product is very flimsy.Not even worth $10.
