Used on inside of daughter’s favorite sweatshirt to repair large areas where fabric around writing/ logo was fraying. I was able to pull fabric together so no patch shows on outside. The iron on area was used on inside of sweatshirt, leaving large jersey patches ( instead of traditional stiffer patch material) . One problem I had- directions say to use a pressing cloth and iron both sides, which I did. This removed some of the writing/logo transfer onto the pressing cloth. Garment says do not iron logo. It was fine for this garment because it is a well-aged university sweatshirt; but something to consider if that would be a problem for you.

Used to patch worn out elbows of a Lululemon jacket. Nice fabric and very good color and texture match. I had the patches cross stitched rather than ironed on.

Works so far

I often end up with splits in the inner thigh area of my yoga pants due to chafing, and I had a pair I wasn't ready to give up so I tried these patches on the *insides* of the pants in the weakened areas. They seemed to work well for this purpose. The patches are not as stretchy as the fabric of my yoga pants (mine are the Pact pants made of a cotton/poly blend), but that seems to be a benefit as it keeps that patched area more sturdy and less likely to chafe or split again. At first it seemed the patches weren't going to adhere well, but I kept trying at it, using high heat and an old tea towel on top to shield the patches from the iron, and they finally adhered well. I haven't tried washing them yet, so we'll see how the patches hold up. All in all, I'm glad to have saved my expensive activewear pants!

After several months, these patches are not attractive. They have frayed at the edges and lost some of the color.My grey ones seem to be holding up better than my blue ones. I always need to buy patches for my elbows as I blow them out with my dress shirts after two to three years.I have bought some alternative elbow patches on Amazon that are suede. The cost is higher but so far they are more attractive.
