It works well for the purpose of evenly and lightly coating a pan or food for roasting. I'm glad I got it! It's quite roomy too and holds a lot of oil and works well with only a little oil as well. It's tall so it doesn't fit in my cupboard; but I store it in the oven cavity with the pots and pans. It sprays easily and is comfortable to handle. So, I'd say, it was an excellent purchase.

I have had it with the Misto sprayers. I've purchased 4 of them in the past year and none of them still works. So I was looking for something that works differently. So here's what's good about it: it works (at least, so far -- two of the Misto sprayers I purchased didn't work right out of the box). It has a nozzle that swivels -- you can spray or stream or turn it off. Here's what's bad about it: The spray isn't as fine as the Misto. Not nearly. I sprayed it on crumb topping tonight and it moved some of the topping around -- it comes out with that much force. And it drips. Something that could be good or bad, depending on your preference: It's HUGE! Take note, dear shopper, this thing holds 18 ounces of oil! I considered buying the two 8 ounce ones. I *would* have bought 1 8-ounce one for $15, but they didn't give me that option. I don't need 2 of these things, so paying $5 more for 2 small ones just doesn't make sense, especially since I didn't know if I would even like it. This thing takes up twice as much space on my counter as the Misto. I suppose I will be glad when I don't have to refill it as often, but I kind of wish this was 12 ounces. That seems about right to me. Another note: This comes with a teeny little funnel, which I will probably have lost before it's time to fill this thing again. Nice touch, but not really necessary. I'd rather not have it and save $1. It also comes with 3 different colored rubber "collars' you can put on it so if you have two or more, you can tell them apart. Another nice, if unnecessary touch. I could see wanting that for the smaller ones. I think this will suit most of my needs, but it is not perfect. I will come back and edit this post if this thing stops working at some point. Added 10 months later: Okay, I still have this and it still works. And I still agree with everything I've said above: It's too big, and it drips, and the spray is not "fine" in consistency. But it still works and I'm mostly happy with it. At least it wasn't a waste of money. They should sell an 8 oz. one without the funnel or the different colored collars and charge $15 for it.

Great so far although I wasn't paying attention and didn't realize how big this bottle is. So many good features, I'm surprised. I will grant you I didn't read the information carefully so I was pleased to find included the little rings with names of popular types of oil and vinegar that can be slipped over the bottles neck for identification. The three elastic rings have a different name on the inside and outside so you get six choices. I was also pleased to discover three different spray choices, fan type horizontal or vertical sprays and a general 'round' spray. I like that the spray isn't super fine so I don't have to spray but a few times to get my pan or salad dressed to my liking. I've had no trouble with clogging so far. There are maintenance instructions to keep the spray working which I'll follow, but with this generous sized bottle, it will be a while before I need to refill it. The little funnel provided actually screws onto the bottle neck to ensure spill free filling. It then can be removed from the neck and attached to the bottle if you like via a ring attachment so it doesn't get lost. This is a well thought out item. I like it so well I'm buying the set of two smaller ones also. I very much like the idea of spraying my own oil, but don't like type of container you have to pump. This fits the bill in my kitchen.

When this was working it was average. The spray itself was uneven but got the job done. I did use it regularly, at least once or twice a week. The problem is that it broke after about a year of usage. I'm not 100% sure, but it seems like the filter at the bottom got clogged. Whatever the cause, it just stopped being able to spray. Nothing comes out and the trigger isn't fully responsive. If you decide to buy this just know that you'll get a year before it breaks down. Purchased September 2024, dead by September 2025.

Von einem "Spray" kann man nicht sprechen - es ist bei allen Einstellungen das Gleiche - ein dicker fetter Strahl, der unkontrollierbar ist. Mittlerweile habe wir zwei Polster der Küchenstühle ruiniert, da der Strahl nicht kontrollierbar ist Außerdem ist er undicht, wenn man "sprüht" läuft einem Öl über den Zeigefinger. Also : Hochgelobt aber nicht tauglich. Nach vier Wochen zurückgegeben.

Este spray de aceite resultó muy bueno, en cada disparo sale una buena cantidad de aceite solo que ahora hay que tener cuidado para no rociar fuera del sartén.

De momento funciona bien, estoy contenta. El aceite se distribuye bien, y es muy cómodo. Puedes elegir dos opciones para spray, una puntual y otra más dispersa que es la que más uso.

BIL liked it so much he asked for one for his birthday. Not cheap but we plan to get another one (one for olive oil and one for vegetable oil).
