Caladryl Pink Lotion 6 Oz.

Calamine lotion is widely available but the addition of benedryl makes this lotion much more effective for soothing bug bites. I don't think it's meant to be used over large areas of skin or for muscle aches. Some people are quite sensitive to benedryl so I would confine its use to itchy bites or poison ivy patches.

The stores are full of the clear Caladryl and Amazon was the only place I could find the pink one. The clear one is a sticky mess that takes forever to dry and then flakes off, and it does not work. This one dries quick and starts working immediately. Other reviews mentioned that their bottle came half empty or that it had spilled during delivery, so I was afraid to order it, but I didn't have those troubles at all. In fact, mine came double wrapped.

The older you get the more you will need this item. It's good for people of all ages also.

It dries the mosquito bites and helps a lot with itching. A life saver!

I grew up with caladryl in my house so I of course keep it in mine. It relieves itching very quickly, and it has long lasting effects. I’ll put it on a mosquito bite and won’t feel the need to itch it for hours! This of course depends on how much the area is being touched or used, but that’s common sense. This is a seriously magic tool to have in a home with children. Any minor skin irritations or itching related to poison plants or bug bites, this will save you!

I really liked this product a lot better than others that I have ordered. It is thick enough that it doesn't make a huge mess when you try to apply it and it seems to last a lot longer. It also helped with the itching that I had from poison ivy.
