I had Best Buy install this at a flat fee of $99.99. There were snags, but all worked out OK. The original unit shipped had some problems and had to be returned. I suspect I received a used unit. The Customer Service Rep, Jason, at Grom did an EXCEPTIONAL Job of taking care of the problem. I'm Happy with this but there is a learning curve - perhaps Grom can print a Quick Start Guide. In addition, there are glitches which are minor - but Annoying during playback.There is an annoying dropout of music signal during playback.

This thing is fantastic! Now my 2003 Lexus RX-300 has the features of new cars. I love having the direct audio input for my XM satellite receiver. The base audio is MUCH better than it was with the cassette tape adapter. The Bluetooth hands-free for my Google Nexus 6P Android phone works perfectly, muting the XM during calls, and bringing it right back when I hang up. I never expected to have these features on this vehicle, now I do! I watched the install video and did the install myself in only a few minutes.

Connectivity slowly became a hassle after a 9 months and one month after warranty expired the unit failed to power up. Manufacturer offered no help.

Works perfectly with my RX300. I suggest the BT attachment as well. Once you receive it, see if you have the latest firmware! Mine needed to be updated. Without the update, Grom didn't work.

Purchased for my daughters 1999 RX300 and it works great, I like how she can send and receive calls hands free and it sounds great,Highly recommend
