VPS SynovialMax Hip & Joint Soft Chews for Dogs, 120 count

We recently adopted a three-year-old German Shepherd. Because of the tendency of the breed to develop hip and joint problems we were recommended PS SynovialMax Hip & Joint Soft Chews by a friend who also has German Shepherds. While he is not suffering from any issues, now, we are doing this preemptively.Our dog was a bit dubious about the taste at first, but now he looks forward to his two treats each morning. While the price of these chews seem rather expensive, I am hoping that they will help keep him from any hip issues in the future; or lessen them as much as possible.

My little chihuahua has been having problems with her back legs. My vet recommended this product for her. She's only 5 lbs so only takes 1/2 a treat daily, the other 1/2 I give to my other dog so she doesn't start having issues. Anyway, this has really helped my little girl! She has better mobility, wants to be out longer, so she's not hurting as much. I give these to the girls in the morning before we go out, they see the container, they both jump out of bed to get theirs, they LOVE these! I'm so very pleased I purchased them, they have made a real difference in my babies life!

Most reviews of glucosamine products talk about how much dogs love them -- and most are written by people who have recently started using them. I have two dogs and I have tried seven different products. So learn from my experience:Dogs like anything new. So you act like you are giving them a treat but pretty soon they don't want it anymore. You have to cajole them and later get stern, and they are looking at you with cocked heads as if to say, "If it is a treat, why do you care if I eat it?" And you feel like a heel for having deceived them. So instead:1) When you first start with any glucosamine product, give it to your dog while saying "Take your pill" in the same brook-no-nonsense voice you would use for "Sit." Give your dog a treat after he eats it.2) About two weeks later, order a second glucosamine product and offer your dog a choice of the two while still saying "Take your pill." Continue to give a treat.3) About two weeks later, your dog might start showing a preference for one type over the other. Use the last of the disfavored brand and order a different brand.4) Keep doing this until your dog is choosing between the two brands equally.

We have a golden retriever that is 12 years old. She was having a hard time getting around and you could tell she was having hip arthritis issues. We started her on VPS and you could tell a different in a few days. We have now had her on this for over a year and it continues to help her. 100% recommend!!

I have been giving these to my 12 year old, 45 lb. Aussie mix for over a year now. I started noticing some stiffness and limping after resting, and decided to find something that might help. SynovialMax Chews were highly recommended by a pet store employee. I can say without a doubt that they work (at least for my dog). She gets one chew daily, and the limping is gone. She is very active! More, the only times the limping has returned has been when she's off the chews. Once I took too long to order a new batch (as I now purchase from Amazon), and in the few days she wasn't getting them she started limping again. And again, recently I was away from the house for a week and noticed limping when I returned. I said to a family member, "Have you been giving her the chews?" Answer was "No" (grrr). So in my opinion this product is well worth it! Also, my dog thinks it's a treat - and she's a picky eater.

I have had my dog on these daily for the past 8 years. She is a mixed beagle/welch corgi/(i don't know what else) mix. 8 years ago she used to get arthritis so bad she could hardly walk at first in the morning. I heard about this brand and started using it. My dog is now 17 years old and going strong. I did also change her brand of dog food shortly before to Solid Gold brand Holisique blend, so I can't say for sure it is only these vitamins that made the difference, but I do believe they have made a huge impact on the decrease of her joint pain. She has one of these vitamins everyday and gets up in the morning with a lazy stretch and then walks great. I cannot say how highly I recommend these vitamins for elderly dogs.

I was a little skeptical @ first. The usual product I used stopped manufacturing it. I was desperate to get my dog help.He is 11 years young & very painful. We used to play catch, & it did a number on his joints.I liked how these were made in the USA. That is the most important thing.Johnny has been on them for s few weeks now. I have seen such a dramatic improvement! He is like a puppy again!This product really works. He can get up & sit with no difficulty now! He used to be very stiff. He seems much happier too! We have a 9 year old Scotch Collie. He seems to be a lot more active since we started giving him 2 per day. We will continue to purchase this product.
