Items are constructed with heavy spongy foam type material. They don't hold together well for play. G'son is 6 yrs old. He needed help with assembly because parts kept coming apart on one side, while he was assembling on the other side. Not all of the things go together at once-- parts from the rocket also used for the rover. I'm glad he was 6 yrs old, he might have been disappointed if he was younger. His room is space decorated, so they will likely go on a shelf, not used for play because of their fragility. Pkg and shipping was good

I bought this rocket for my 8 year old son. He has built other Bloco toys in the past, like the robots and some animals, and he loved it very much. He found the rocket challenging to put together, he needed help a couple of times but he built it on his own. I think the toy is more for kids older than 8 years old.The final product is beautiful but it needed to be readjusted a few times when he played with it. So he decided to keep it on display. Overall, it's a beautiful, fun and challenging project for kids that are around the age of 10 and plus.

My 10 year-old son had fun building the capsule, astronaut and rover, with no major difficulty, and in a relatively short amount of time; however he found it harder to put the rocket together. It is a nice-looking final product more for display than actual play, as the whole structure is not stable if you play with it and tends to disassemble. I would recommend this product for at least 10 year-old kids.

It is a fun toy to put together although the pieces don't fit together snuggly.

First of all, it's bigger then I thought, not cheap stuff. Second, my son is almost 10 and I wasn't sure when I bought it, thought it will be for youngest one but it's just perfect for this age. My son love to follow plans so he's been served! He follows the instructions easily and built the astronaut and space car in no time. He already ask me for other Bloco toys, he said: "It's better then the Lego!".

The toy broke before Christmas day was over.

What a great product! Bought this model for my 7 year old son who loves spaceships for his birthday a few weeks back. He has not stopped playing with it since he opened the box. He initially needed a little help to build the rocket, (making sure all pieces were firmly in place) and now he is able to rebuild it by himself into a space capsule and a lunar rover. My daughter now wants one.

We threw this away! The pieces would not stay together. It seemed like a good idea and building it was fun, but it's not something a child can play with for more than 1 minute. Our son was so frustrated. We considered gluing the pieces together, but just threw it away in the end.
