I’ve had this for 10 months and it was working great until it stopped working. Thought some wax buildup was the issue but it seems to be truly burnt out. Yes it’s charged up. That’s pretty disappointing, I would have hoped it would last at least a year. I don’t think holding it for 7 seconds or more was the issue, but it’s possible. If that’s the case though, I wish design-wise it would just automatically shut off to prevent that.

Great purchase, and wonderful product! Works so well, the arc is very strong and I was glad to see that it was not affected by the bending of the lighter tube. The LED light is an added bonus, and it works great! I recommend this product to anyone that is an outdoors person or simply someone that is sick of buying lighters to have to refill them later.

I bought this for my wife and he candle lighting. She's a big fan of scented candles. At first she liked it but, within a week, she bought a 2-pack of BIC BBQ lighters at WM. She says it takes too long for the wick to light. Then today I received and email from the company (don't you just hate how some product information comes after the purchase) and it mentions some interesting things including how long you can press the ignition button? (There's a time limit = 7 seconds). It's nice there's no gas I guess. Although electricity is made how? Right, fossil fuels. And there is no "time limit" on a butane lighter. This is a great little gadget. It does exactly as intended lighting candles. I bought for my wife and she loves it said it is so much easier than with a lighter. the flashlight Is also an amazing thing to have this is something that you did not realize you needed it. Got this for my wife because she’s always lighting candles and needing one. Honesty didn’t think it would work as good as it does. Has a really bright light on it. She said that she loves it. I tried it on my charcoal chimney to see if it would light the paper under it and honestly could not believe how fast it lit! I’ll probably buy another one for myself. I will update if it stops working prematurely.

This seemed cool but it was already semi difficult to light, candles didnt take to the spark. It literally stopped working after my 10th try to use it. Its fully charged, flashlight works, but no sparks. So now its completely useless.Waste of money. Get a better product.

I love this lighter. I enjoy burning candles, but sometimes have trouble lighting them once they've burned down a little bit. This lighter makes that so much easier and less burned fingers.
