Back Lawn Grass Seed 2kg Hard Wearing (Covers 40 Square metres)

For the amount of seed you get, for the price I wasn't expecting much.But wow this seed truly is excellent, it germinated within day, and up came some lush green grass, some areas of my garden have been a little slower, but I have poor quality soil and it's still taken.What impressed me also, is that the birds have left it alone.

Lots of the seeds are still sitting on the lawn waiting to grow after 3 weeks. Some has come up, so I'm a little disappointed in this grass seed as it has had plenty of rain and sunshine. I Wouldn't buy this seed again.

We purchased this grass for the heavy footfall traffic on the back lawn. It took just over three weeks for the grass to germinate and grow, but considering the mild summer here in the UK, this is as expected.In contrast the luxury grass for our front lawn which is marketed as fast grown (market leading brand) is still yet to germinate after the same time period.Happy with the product, good value.

Make sure to prepare your soil properly and look after it when it starts to grow

Small pack of grass seed that fires up quickly.We sowed this and in a week it had sprouted and after a few weeks it was about 4" tall.We also used this in terrible poor stony land so in good soil it would be better.We even loose cast this on a heap of dirt and its covered in grass now. The birds didnt show much interest too.

Very pleased with my grass seeds

Bought this to patch up some large areas of lawn, and despite the seeds being fully covered and well watered for a few weeks, a lot of areas failed to take. You can see the patches that did and these are far fewer than the old grass than expected. It kind of did the job but expected a bit better.

Got the lawn seed after a few bold and yellow patches in lawns and where binding weed had taken over and once up had taken the grass away. Unsure on the growing side yet, so gone for a middle star above on Easy to grow. Got a empty mushroom tray for a start to sprinkle, but soon found it easier to gently move the bag it comes in from side to side in a gentle manner and let a soft wind put the seeds into place. Excellent size bag (still half left), fast delivery in Royal Mail post.
