Sprig & Stone Monstera adansonii syn. friedrichsthalii 'Swiss Cheese Vine'

Sales pic showed a four leafrooted cutting, so I expected something pretty small. Mine has 6 leaves, is in a little 2" nursery pot, and came well watered and cared for. A snug heavy cardboard box, bubble wrap, a cellophane floral sock, masking tape to keep soil in the pot, and because of the weather...a hand warmer under the pot.Out of the box the plant was very moist and a bit sad looking, so I put it up on a cabinet to dry a bit and recover. Even overnight it's helped, and looks a bit perkier.Not going to transplant this little guy until it needs the space.

My plant arrived in pretty poor condition. It seemed as if it was drowned in water before it was packaged. The soil was soggy and the leaves looked dusted from water spots. About half the leaves were yellow and many had dry, burned tips. The photos show the dead, damaged leaves I cut off and what's left of the plant after the pruning (yes, I left some yellow leaves on bc the stalks are healthy and might have some new growth coming out of them). I'm well aware of the risks of ordering plants in the mail so this order was definitely an expected wild card. I cut a stem in hopes of propagating this beautiful plant in case the plant I received ultimately dies from root rot. Fingers crossed!

I was SUPER worried about what kind of packaging the plant would come in and if it would come in dead or something but I feel like they go above and beyond. The box it came in was thick and the plant was packaged so well, I was so impressed. The plant came in perfect condition, came with 7 little leaves and has already sprouted 2 more. So happy with it.

Plant looks yellow. Yes, I know shipped plants do stress but there's not even enough soil in the pot for temporary living in the nursery pot and I had to immediately pot it up once I unpacked it so that the roots would be covered in potting soil. Hoping it will bounce back but I expected a lot better quality at this price.

This deserved a review! I've ordered a handful of plants online, and have always had successes, but this was the BEST packaging, and care taking I've seen. Everything was in tact, sprouting, rooting, moist and taped down great! I took a picture to show how it arrived still moist. Beautiful and healthy!!

The plant arrived and was healthy (which is why I gave it 3 stars), but it was TINY! I think $25 for a cutting from a bigger plant in a temporary plastic container is super over-priced. It has grown some since I purchased, but I was pretty disappointed in the price for the size of plant.

I love my swiss cheese plants they are wonderful. The packaging was excellent and the delivery time was excellent also. I will be ordering again.

Great plant. Small, tho. Read everything before buying. But, I didn’t see any like those here. A bit pricey. But, great plant. And, customer service. It’s gonna be great to actually see it grow. Fingers crossed.
