These grinders are very sturdy, and were, as everyone has stated, nicely boxed.They are much larger than I expected. I guess that is a good thing, but I was surprised by the size. They look too large on the table, so they will stay on the stove.I like the lids, as I can leave the lid on, and grind right into it, then remove the lid upside down and see the amount as well as the size of the grind.I'll get used to the size.Nice set.

Do not submerge grinder in water to clean. Glass washed fine. Not the grinders. They filled internally with water. Wasted purchase before we ever got to use them. Probably half my fault and half manufacturer. No instructions or "do's and dont's" were included by manufacturer.

When filled with Himalayan pink salt and a colorful blend of peppercorns, this set is stunning on a table. The pair came in a very attractive gift box and they serve as the most functional yet decorative piece on the table. They're simple enough to be casual but of such great quality and appearance that they can sit atop a classy tablescape and only compliment it.

Easy to adjust the grind. Nice even distribution pattern. Upright design with cap keeps stray salt and pepper from littering table top.

I have not had the opportunity to use these as I just received them not long ago and have not yet gotten the salt and pepper needed to grind. They are, however, very nice quality and a very nice size. I am looking forward to getting to use them soon.

I didn't even try them. When I took them from the box they were dirty and looked used and returned. The one had a brownish film on the inside bottom and the other had a ring around about 1/4 from the bottom and also cloudy on the inside bottom.

I bought it for a gift and I haven't given it yet. So I don't know

They work as expected
