I expected better for $40. I am an executive chef and have bought my fair share of kitchen knives, so I feel like I know what should be acceptable. I should also say before any more negativity, that the serving spatula is beautifu, very heavy duty, and almost worth the $40 alone. That being said, if a knife is to be included in the set, can it at least be a "knife?" This "thing" is just a flat piece of polish steel that was chrome plated and shoved into a knife handle. No edge, not even a thought of an edge, a 90 degree bevel. We will have to bring a real knife additionally to our wedding ceremony now to cut the dessert and serve to our guests. I would have gladly paid more money for the same spatula with a better knife.

Great cake knife set! I’m impressed with the quality and the durability. Well made! I bough the light gold color and it was perfect to match all of the other gold accessories I had. (Not Brett yellow-y at all, it’s a perfect muted gold). I bought the cake stand on Amazon and they matched perfectly! Classic set that will never go out of style.

Found out last minute that my brother didn’t have a serving set for his wedding cake. I found this one and thanks to Prime shipping, it came in just in time. Sure it’s a little pricey, but it is gorgeous! It really brought together the look of the cake table and matched the cake stand. It also made for a nice gift to give them afterwards. I do wish it had come in a box to keep them in though. I also wish the knife was a little shorter. It was a little too long when it came to cutting the cake. It felt unsturdy and awkward, but it worked out just fine.

Beautiful set the only thing usable is the cake server the knife has a rounded full edge that will not cut a cake. Not serated and does not have a sharpened edge it's a round edge. It will make a pretty decoration on the cake table.

This set is absolutely gorgeous! The quality is perfect! And I’m very happy to find a cake cutting set in rose gold. Definitely recommend!
