Viakix Hiking Sandals Women - Athletic Walking Sandle for Outdoors Water Sport Comfort

I have owned many different kinds of sandals. I normally select keen brand, but these Viakix ones just caught my eye. When I got them I liked the packaging (minimal-no box, just a ziplock type sturdy bag) the sandals looked great, but would they feel great? Yes! I have wide feet and many sandals do not fit correctly due to this. These were comfortable and the adjustable straps made it possible for me to wear them even when I had broken my big toe! I have now walked over 30 miles in these shoes and can honestly say they are THE most comfortable sandals I have ever owned! I just went back to buy another pair and unfortunately they are out of my size. Once my size is restocked though, I guarantee I'll be a repeat buyer!

These are the best sandals ever! I've been wearing them on a six week vacation. I've hiked rocky terrain, cobblestone streets, dirt paths, sidewalks, stairs and wore them as I showered while camping and not once have my feet hurt, I've not slipped. I love the ability to adjust the three straps over my foot as needed for each individual foot. I loved them so much, my friend purchased a pair and loves them too!

This is an update to a review that I posted a few days ago. The seller has been TERRIFIC and is refunding my money and sending me a new pair (I was accidentally sent 2 right-foot sandals). If you're looking for a water sandal that will take a lot of use and abuse (such as Keen), this is probably not the sandal for you. However, the padding will make for comfortable wearing around town and for lighter water use (lake wading, for example). I really like the the grey color that I ordered, it's a soft grey, not charcoal, which I prefer. Also, the straps make for easy adjustment and fitting - perfect for my wide feet. Thanks to a most helpful seller and I recommend this sandal if it fits the needs described above.

I own 2 pairs of these sandals. (Gray and Blue). I wore a pair today for the first time and it happens to be 110 degrees where I live. There was no break in period needed. These felt supportive and yet lightweight with a very cushiony feeling between me and the scorched pavement. When I was driving, the positioning of the straps did NOT impede my foot's flexibility from gas to brake pedals. After wearing them for the last 8 hours I would say I am very pleased and optimistic about the long haul. I have sensitive feet and need good arch support and cushioning and these provide both. I just wish there were more interesting colors to choose from. I wear sandals all year long and would happily buy additional pairs if there were more rainbow colors.Update: I now also own the black and Hallelujah! The grey is back in stock so I can order a back up pair! I love these sandals but am still waiting for more rainbow colors to be offered.

I love these sandals - i bought them for a trip to the beach but they look so good have them on with a black dress at work today.Will definitely be buying other colors. I have lower back issues and it is hard to find a pair of sandals that do not hurt my back - have had these on for hours and no issues at all. I have already had several people ask where i got them. LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM

Great fit! I wear size 8 regular width. I have plantar fasciitis and the arches on these sandals are very supportive. Wide strap at back of heel holds foot in place, no rubbing! Walk with my dogs on paved and dirt trail (flat) not sure these would be good for steeper dirt trails, would need more tread. Taking to Italy and hope these will replace my hot, sweaty tennis shoes! Pretty with dressy casual skirts/dresses too!

Can't believe another sandal that fit perfect, comfortable right out of the box! Size 10 was a true size 10. I have a bunion, and these sandals straps do not bother it at all and not at the area. The material of the sandal is soft while the foot has a great shape Im usually a clunky style sandal wearer and these are perfect when the less clunky look is needed Love them!

I find this to be the most comfortable sandal. I bought them for walking and for an upcoming trip. After wearing them all day my feet and legs felt great. And there was no blistering or "breaking in" necessary. I have the pink and they are great. I have more expensive similar sandals, but Ill buy another pair of these.

I bought these on the strength of the reviewers that said it fitted their high instep, and all the straps have velcro.They are indeed higher in the instep than some, and provided you get exactly the right size this style will suit you. It is adjustable on all straps so I could custom fit my wider (but not excessively wide) feet and the extra depth needed at the instep. They are roomy at the heel, and I would say they are true to size, but made to accommodate slightly longer toes than mine.There is still a little velcro extra so could accommodate wider feet and maybe adjust to feet that swell slightly in the heat.The colour is a light to mid grey nubuck-like material, with a grey, white and black pattern on the straps. Useful, unisex, but unexciting. The construction seems to be solid, and the stitching is well finished. The straps are quite stout and I am breaking them in by wearing socks under them at present until they become softer. They are light and flexible and have good grip.I'm very pleased with these, I expect them to be really useful.

I have plantar Fasciitis and so find sandals a real problem because I cannot put the supports in them like I do with shoes. I wore these around the house for two days with no pain. The arch support is good and they look more attractive than the usual clumpy walking sandal.

These were very heavy and, despite being partly made of lightweight ‘breathable’ material, I felt that they would make my feet sweat. Also, I need a wide fit, so had to order a larger size than usual. I had to return them for a refund.

As I have wide feet at the toes and very high arches I find these sandals extremely comfortable.The Velcro adjustable straps are a godsend as I have the beginning of a bunion. Although there was only just enough Velcro to stick down, perhaps a bit more variability would sort this out. Anyone with a big bunion would struggle to close them.But again, a very comfy everyday & walking sandal. I shall definitely buy more!

Didn't like these at all. I don't think they look like the photo. They were very hard. Both the straps and the foot bed. Shame as the arch support was just right for my high arches. Will return.

Absolutely fantastic. I bought these for my wife because we hillwalk lots in Scotland and the hard part on the feet is coming back down, putting pressure on the toes. Being an open toed sandal, with the benefit of an outdoor shoe, will give confidence of grip and comfort of a beach shoe. Can't wait to go climbing again!!!!

Lovely sandals! I needed a pair of commute sandals in summer and general wear. It’s a generous fit. With my broad feet, you can adjust the straps to widen the space. I think they’re pretty true to size. I’m a size 5.5 and sized up to a 6 which works for me. I bought the brown which look neutral and I really liked the pattern. Impressive sandals at a good price - I’m glad I looked beyond the usual 2 travel sandal brands I normally buy.

I chose these sandals as every strap was adjustable. I have arthritis in my feet so this is very important. The sandals are stylish and not like the ' oldie ' type for people with foot problems. I love the grey colour as well. They are very lightweight.

Love the shaped sole with instep support. Sadly I must be a wide foot as the straps (even though adjustable) were not long enough. Too little of the Velcro is attached for me.

Bought these sandals for a holiday where the weather will be hot and humid. So when my feet swell I can adjust all the straps as necessary. They are well made and felt comfortable as soon as I started to wear them.

They give fantastic support to the feet and are very comfortable to wear.i have wide feet and these adjust to my exact needsI do a lot of hill walking with my dog these shoes are perfect they have great gripI love them

Had to reorder a smaller size but they are lovely so comfy and look good very happy with theses sandals
