Powerful Fan - Great for Patios
Purchased this fan to provide a cross breeze on a large patio. I mounted the fan in the corner of the Pergola over the patio. I installed a 2 x 6 crossbeam and attached the frame of the fan to the bottom of the crossbeam. The fan is very powerful on its high setting and provides lots of great air circulation. Others have mentioned that it’s noisy on its high, setting but when it’s outdoors, it certainly is not as noticeable. I installed a GFIC outlet behind the fan in order to remove the fan from its frame in the winter months.

Works well for our pergola
We needed a inexpensive outdoor fan to stir the hot air under our pergola. We mounted in a corner and it allowed a breeze across our 12x14 pergola. It is water resistant and is partially under cover. It works well for our purposes. It was relatively easy to mount and my husband mounted by himself.

This fan blows
It’s so good. I use it on the ceiling of my gazebo. There’s a hole in the middle of the hanging bracket on the fan that I used with a heavy duty carabiner to hang from a built-in hook on the ceiling of the gazebo. The fan blows cool air to everyone equally. It’s awesome. I highly recommend!

Weather resistant fan, moves a lot of air, but louder than expected.
Mounted this under our deck to cool our patio on hot days. The fan is easy to install and moves a lot of air to keep things comfortable, even when set to the lowest of the three speeds. The fan is louder than expected, which is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5.It's been through several rainstorms and is still going strong, so the weather resistance is real. I'll take it inside over the winter since it will not be needed then, and can better protect it against the elements.

Issue with pull cord to turn on/off
I would give this fan 5 stars if the quality held up. It is not too loud and works well, until the pull chain rips off. I have replaced this fan several times because the pull chain to turn it on/off keeps ripping off. We have taken the fan apart to try and fix it and there is no way to reattach it. The last replacement fan was bought in Aug 2024 and lasted until today- not even 1 full year.
