Be careful, it can burn your skin!
Overall quality is very nice. Towels get warm and crispy. But the temperature of the towel warmer can get pretty high, and becomes dangerously hot. One day I wasn't wearing a shirt after shower, and my back accidentally leaned on the warmer when it's been on for about 30-60 min and immediately I got burned. Skin turned red and started to hurt. Thank goodness, it was fine the next day. I contacted WarmlyYours and have been told there is no way to adjust the power output or the temperature setting of the warmer. I think a simple low/med/high setting with a timer would be a better option than the 7 day programmable switch.

Pros and cons but it looks great
Thoughts after a few weeks use: Four stars is being generous; too generous and I have down graded to a two star. The reason: it just does not give towels that feel as though they have come from the laundry dryer, which is what the advertising claims. Even after 4 hours of heat the towel can cool off before you have pulled it off the rack, unfolded it and started to get yourself dry. Very disappointing really. As before - This towel warming rack has good and bad points. Here are the pros:Well built and finished product. The assembly is straightforward and the legs that attach to the wall are all at perfect angles. The base caps that hold the legs on the wall are a good design and allow you to attach the rack firmly. The finishing trim and matching stainless cover for the electrical box are neat features. The timer switch is a Honeywell product, which is a well known brand and should be reliable. The cons:The size is exactly as advertised, no surprise. However, if you want to easily store and warm two big bath towels you are going to be a little disappointed. A standard bath towel even folded in half uses more than half the rack. Obviously you can hang one on top of the other but the heating is going to be less effective. To fit two towels side by side you will have to fold them in three layers lengthwise. That means most of the towel is not directly on the rack. The fitting instructions specify that one side should be on a stud. There are 4 drywall fitting for the legs though! The reality is that only the side without the wiring could be fitted on a stud because you cannot fit the electrical box on top of a stud. I opted to fit a wooden foundation and mount the rack in the correct position in the bathroom rather than mess about trying to screw the bases to studs. The electrical connections are a very frustrating aspect. A small point - no wire nuts for the connections are included. The timer has wire nuts but not the rack. Instructions are in multiple languages though! The hardwire rack requires you to make the connections to the power supply while hanging on to the rack because you cannot fit it to the base fittings until the wiring is connected. The tails are short and you have to work around the trim pieces, rubber sealing ring and the cover plate. Once that is done, the top screw for the cover plate is behind the rack! The Honeywell timer is a large unit and with all the connections required it is a very tight squeeze to fit everything in to a deep receptacle box! The cover plate does not sit flush because of the thickness of the timer.Timer: it is likely that the timer adds considerably to the purchase price, which for a cramped two towel rack is high. There is a switch on the rack but it is likely to defeat senior hands with arthritis (mum-in-law here is 92). It is a very small switch protected by a plastic dome. The timer gives a simple on off function if you leave it in manual mode. I am going to programme the timer to dry used towels during cheap electricity periods. However, I think you could live without a timer and save some cost. The software in the timer looks very similar to that in an AUBE baseboard thermostat I have and I rated that very poorly!Installation: I was part way through a small renovation of our bathroom and it was no problem to run the wires behind the wall for the installation. If you just want to fit the rack without major work, maybe consider a plug in unit?It took a fair amount of work to install the rack with a wooden base behind (I used cedar planks and cut shiplap joints) but it was worth the effort as it looks good. Everyone likes warm towels!Warm up time: after switching on the rails start to feel warm after about 4 minutes. Warming a towel would likely take longer than your pre-shower prep so plan ahead! After 10 minutes the top of the towels where they fold over the rail were getting warm. After 15 minutes the inner layers of material felt warm but were still not nice and toasty! The metal rails were starting to get too hot to hold comfortably. After 20 minutes the outside of the towels were still not warm apart from at the top of the rack. I estimate that it would take at least 30 minutes to get the towel warm through and much longer if you want them nice and toasty. Plan ahead! Damp towels put back on the rack would take a long while to dry but dry they will. Yes, after 25 minutes the towels are still not warm throughout. Enough testing - time for a coffee while I wait for the thing to do its job. Enjoy.Update after a few days use: measured the temperature of the bars once fully heated and it is quite variable: between 20 and 45 centigrade depending on the position along the bar and which one is directly measured. Outer surface of towels barely get warm and after a towel is used and returned to dry etc, it takes at least two hours before it feels ‘ready to go again’. Electrical current used by the rack is approx 1.3 to 1.4 amps. Wattage is about what the manufacturer advertises. There has been a price drop since I bought my item, which may be temporary but it indicates the higher price is, well....too high!

Very solid unit
After travelling in northern Europe where these types of racks are quite common I researched and came around to purchasing this heater. It heats up quickly and has a higher than average wattage output. The thermostat that it came with was quite advanced and more than what I needed for this heater. I ended up purchasing one that I could set for 1-2-4-8 hours which worked better for me than having it come on a set intervals.Overall the heater is great. Its saved on having to do load after load of laundry because the towels won't dry and start to smell. Also its really cozy to dry off with a warm towel.

missing parts
The timer was not included, even though it was sold as having one, and having instructions on how to install it.We hardwired it anyway as it has a built-in on-off switch. works really well. gets hot almost instantly.

Nice rack, but programmable switch is not useful.
The towel warmer is nice, heats up fast, looks neat. The only thing I don’t like is the timer. It’s an actual light timer (you program it when you wish for it to be turned on, time of day, etc.). I wish the timer was to switch it off in 10,15,30 min after I turned it on (like fan in the bathroom). So I wouldn’t buy the programmable switch that comes with it, but purchase one separately for time delay switch off.

Works as it should
Towel warmer works great. This is actually my second as the first one lasted about 4 years and then the switch and internal wiring disintegrated. It would have been nice to get longer life out if the warmer, but it was on daily. In the winter it is certainly nice to have a warm towel, but it was in the summer we discovered the benefit as our towels would dry out. Before with the furnace off our towels would stay damp. You do need to set the timer to be on for a least an hour before use if you want really warm towels.Children need to be careful around the towel warmer as it is hot to touch.

Works well and great price
Heats up very quickly and gets the towels nice and warm. Makes leaving for vacation difficult! Also installed in conjunction with automatic timer which makes use of the towel rack effortless!Would recommend

Would recommend it comes with a Timer with build in GFCi ...
Works well and has clean lines. Would recommend it comes with a Timer with build in GFCi instead of a standard timer.
