I took some time to do a review of this item because I want to make sure it works in an inverted pressure system, where the inside has more pressure than the outside. I left the bottle in the hot 80F and it did perform well.It can be used to seal a half bottle of beer.Looks great. The gold shine is majestic. I like the rich finish of the caps. Looks funny on beers, but on wine or champagne, it looks amazing.Positives:-------------------------------* Small, will not take extra space in the refrigerator. Very useful in my opinion, since my refrigerator has limited space. Mind that others take too much space in the vertical, making it very hard to fit into the refrigerator.* It will not leak. It does hold pressure and does not leak. You will have to clean after every use, but it is simple and easy.* The Clicking sound that makes when it is open it is amazing.* Interior is made of very soft rubber, clear and easy to clean.* Injection molding finish is amazing.Cons:---------------------------------* Works best if temperatures go from hot to cold.* Does not repressurize the system (the Bottle) so if you have half of the bottle left, it may not be a good alternative, since the gas will disperse and make the champagne or beer taste different, due to less concentration of the CO2.* Price. Even comes with 2, I think the price should be a bit less, maybe around $6.00 for the pair.

This product works very well. It fit perfectly on my bottle of champagne, and I imagine it would work well on most other bottles of sparkling wine.The stopper is tight when I turn the bottle over, and there was no leakage. When I opened the bottle the follow evening, there was an audible “pop,” so it keeps the champagne “sparkling.”An excellent product, I would certainly purchase again, as it is a good value for the price, and works well.

Love this!!! Most is my favorite cocktails require me to used Prosecco or Champagne. This little gadget keeps them sparkling after opening for up to a week. It could work longer but a week is my test. I highly recommend these. They are a little tricky to use. You have to press them onto the bottle before pushing the sides down. But once it’s on it sealed nicely.

These champagne bottle stoppers do not fit champagne bottles. I had received a similar item as a gift and loved it. It fit well and kept the champagne bubbly. I purchased these but they are definitely not the same. Do not buy them.

I like mimosas but can never finish a champagne bottle by myself. So I found these to help me keep the fizz longer to enjoy the rest of the champagne another day. Super easy to use...just place it on top of the bottle and pull the two wings down to keep the pressure air tight. I've used it only on champagne bottles and have lay the bottles down in the fridge since I don't always have space for the champagne bottle to be in stand up position. There has not been leakage so far. Works perfectly and no thinking involved.

These 2 champagne stoppers are very beautiful looking. I recently opened two bottles of champagne and the are both currently on. I have the bottles in the refrigerator sideways and no leaks. Would definitely recommend.

Unlike wine stoppers which can be put back into the bottle, you need something like this to keep air from circulating in unused champagne. These are easy to used and work fairly well, so long as you put it in the fridge and don't keep it for too long.
