Wow, this puzzle is making me feel stupid
I bought this little guy about 6 months ago. I solved it after about a half hour of intense puzzle-solving, and I felt pretty satisifed with myself. I immediately tried to reassemble it, but only spent about five minutes on it before giving up and pledging to "do it later."Well, 6 months later with this little guy sitting on my desk, I've decided to give it another ago and...well, it's hard to describe how much more difficult it is to put this little puzzle back together than it is to solve it. Solving it isn't even the half of it. It probably doesn't help that I waited half a year between disassembly and reassembly, but this thing is definitely testing my brain. I've worked on it for about 3-4 hours total over the course of a week at work, and I feel like I'm still not close to a solution. So, in short, this thing is definitely worth the few dollars it costs. Although I see a little paint chipping over the piece, it doesn't really have an effect on the durability at all. This little guy is durable, so you could hand it to your kids to have them solve and put back together (which, if they do, you might want to register them in gifted and/or honors classes) with no worry of it breaking. I suppose you could be a little wary of possibly losing one of the four pieces when it's fully disassembled, but that's it.I'm new to the Hanayama puzzle hobby, so I'm not a veteran of the industry or anything, but I can say as an 'of average intelligence' male, this puzzle is incredibly difficult and it will definitely test your aptitude and motor skills.Buy it.Edit: After about 10 hours total of on-and-off attempts, I finally got this sucker put back together. It still blows my mind how difficult it is. If any other Hanayama puzzles are even close to the challenge this little guy is, I'll be buying Hanayama puzzles for a long, long time. What is crazy about this puzzle is I don't feel like it was a waste of time at all (it helps that I only worked on it at work). I was constantly being challenged by it, finding out new ways pieces fit, etc. It was a big learning experience and a huge brain teaser. One co-worker mentioned, "Thanks to that thing, you just prevented getting Alzheimer's disease", which is a homage to how much time I put into this. I suspect other people will have a similar experience.

Very satisfying, once you get it
This is a fun puzzle. It is difficult and will probably take some hours to discover enough to open it. Even reassembling it then is challenging. But once the moves and logic of the Infinity puzzle are discovered, it is a joy. The cast/machined parts are smooth and substantial. My fingers only got a little sore, not from any rough pieces, just from the hours of manipulation as I was driven to keep trying.

Fun puzzle!
I was worried it would be too easy for my son. He seemed to enjoy trying to figure it out and it took him a while just to get it undone! Well made and fun puzzle

good puzzle
nice puzzle to keep your hands busy. one section of the 'teeth' hang when you try to turn past one spot. was labeled "very hard" but I got the pieces separated just by randomly shaking it.

Infinity was fun
I'm usually pretty good at puzzles like this. I usually finish super hard ones in 30-60 min. Didn't read any instructions... Saw back of box before and after with rings out. Got to work.Infinity took about 20-30 min to solve and about 5 min to put back. Once you figure out the gimmick (which took 15-20 min) , it gets pretty easy with repetitive motions. I liked the gimmick of this one. Not very complex but tricky because you can't see what's inside until u have half the trick exposed.Recommended.Liked much more than news which took me 15 min but just has simple gimmick.

Bought for.my husband
They are made very well. Heavy duty and the different designs are amazing. My hubby loves these kinds.of challenges. I have bought him a few now and he is enjoying everyone of them. Would recommend to anyone who loves doing these kinds of puzzles.

I fear I have the best one (Infinity)
On a whim I decided to purchase two of these Level 6 Hanayama puzzles. I chose the Infinity and the Square. I first had my goal of solving Infinity first as that one appealed to me the most. After maybe an hour of fiddling around with it off and on I was able solve it - I never done puzzles like this or "mind teasers" this is my first one. Having said that I would challenge anyone to solve this under 30 minutes. Out of the 2 I can see Infinity being my favorite out of the other Level 6s Hanayama offers, but I may be surprised in the future..I read some other Amazon reviews and remember reading the "News" can just fall apart in your hands.. Well unfortunately I kind of had a similar experience with the Square. I will say however the hint in the box is a bit too much and led to this happening. I would recommend not reading the hint! I believe the Infinity had no such hint that was in the box. (although it wouldn't help because its an entirely different take on a puzzle). After the the Square fell apart, it was more challenging putting it back together but I felt this puzzle was more "frustrating" then logic provoking. The quality of both puzzles are very well made, nicely durable and they have a nice weight to them, The overall quality makes it worthwhile to spend time on solving these and you wouldn't ever have to worry about breaking it while trying to solve them. I will definitely will be purchasing more! The Infinity is a great puzzle and would love to see if another Level 6 is just as good as this one!

Good puzzle, but..
Good puzzle that takes a while to solve. Only thing I don’t like is that you are basically solving the puzzle “blind” as all you are doing is twisting and turning the 2 circular pieces in the middle since you can’t see what’s inside to solve it logically.

Genial
Muy buen rompecabezas solo que al momento de manipularlo queda un poco flojo pero es muy divertido y buen material esta muy macizo.

Great product
Good quality. Not overly difficult but I've played with enough to know it's. All based on the person some find it overly difficult and some solve in 5 seconds

Truly Difficult
Not all puzzle difficulty ratings are accurate, but this one is truly very difficult. Tip: Document how you take it apart somehow. Trying to get it back together if you can't precisely recall how you took it apart step by step is insane. Good for hours of fiddly puzzling pleasure on the cheap. I've got five Hanayama puzzles now, and this one is my favourite, for sure.
