Looks brand new, works perfectly, couldn't be happier with it!!
Short version: Love my new Pixel <3Long version: My girlfriend and I needed new phones and I wanted to search for something refurbished because I'm not about to pay nearly $1000 for a phone. This Amazon listing had me feeling a bit cautious (considering there weren't many reviews) but I decided to pull the trigger because of the 90-day return policy for Amazon Renewed. So I ordered 2.Each phone arrived in absolutely pristine condition. No scratches, dents, scrapes, nothing. They look brand new and were packed extraordinarily well. Not in a factory box but this thing called "slip n ship" which is a really fantastic product for sending delicate electronics. Came with a charger that charges VERY fast and a tool for popping out SIM cards.Upgrading was super easy. I was coming from a Pixel 2 XL so all I had to do was put in my old SIM card (Verizon ofc) and Google nearly did the rest. My girlfriend was coming from an old iPhone so getting her data over took a bit longer but again, an easy switch. She uses "Straight Talk" with Verizon and still, all she needed to do was just pop the SIM card over.ALSO, the cherry on top: I expected the capacity of this battery to be somewhat diminished. In a way, this is a "used" (albeit refurbished) phone so I was hoping for maybe 95% capacity. I used an app called "Accubattery" to estimate the capacity remaining and it's at 104%!! (This sounds like a lie or confusing but I promise if you Google this you'll find other people with similar stories. New phones often have a capacity higher than what they're rated for. For example: The Pixel 4XL's battery is rated at 3700mAh and Accubattery is estimating the capacity of the specific phone I got to be 3,861mAh. AWESOME.)

Pleasantly Surprised
I was very skeptical buying a renewed cell phone. These have the potential to be used and abused. That was not the case here. The back and sides are in mint condition. The screen has some light scratches, but nothing that affects usability. You can only see the scratches with the screen off. I was impressed that it came in the original packaging, including the sim tray tool. Makes it feel more special than a generic box. The 3rd party charger is a throw away. Coming from a Pixel 2 XL, I have 2 of the OEM 18 watt chargers, so this wasn't a big deal. You should always use the OEM chargers to preserve the life of the battery. The Pixel 4XL has been a great experience thus far. Still getting use to the transition from fingerprint scanner to face recognition, but it works great. The OLED screen is bright and crisp. The speakers are amazing. All the functionality works as it should, wifi, bluetooth, camera sensors, etc. Very pleased with the phone operation. The claims of 80% battery capacity seem to be holding up. This phone could have used a larger battery, but it gets the job done. I considered the Pixel 5, but I was not pleased with the mid-tier processor, generations old camera hardware, lousy speakers, and uninspired design. The 4XL is a true flagship phone.

Great phone
I bought this thing 3 years ago on here and never did a review. It’s probably the best phone I have had up until my new phone. Which is the progression of things. I still use my p4xl as a work device and it’s awesome. The battery still works great, everything with the phone has held up fantastic. I recommend it for a really good cheap phone for a kid. Or anyone who needs a really good good cheaper device.

After using the phone
Ok so after using the phone and playing with the features. I have to say the phone operates flawlessly. The quality of the phone is amazing. Not a scratch almost polished looking. If I wasn't told it is refurbished I would have guessed it was brand new. I am very satisfied with my purchase. And after a small mix up with another purchase the seller was very quick to fix the issue. 5 stars and I will definitely consider shopping with them again.

Flawless condition
This is going to be my second refurbished phone from Amazon, my first was the Honor View 10 which served me very well. This phone arrived sealed and in new condition. The price was great I use Verizon but after sixty days I will take this phone to FI based on the unlock policy. I love the integration into android of the pixel phones it's compatible to how iphones are married into IOS. Having owned a Samsung phone prior I wanted a clean Android experience that takes full advantage and doesn't deviate into OEM duplicate bloatware and the pixels answer that call. I did consider a 4a 5G but the 4XL has a much better chipset that includes a neuro processing unit that not even the 5 includes. Yes there is no 5g but who cares for at least this year the 5g networks have a ways to go before any notable difference . The speeds on LTE are very good. Regarding the battery flaw that the 4xl has been known for. Google has extended the warranty one year on all pixel 4 that are affected by this and you have the 90 day amazon warranty so buy knowing that if there is an issue it will be handled . The 4xl runs smooth with the 90hz screen on a beautiful 1440p PLED screen. The snapdragon 855 is very snappy even for theost demanding games. I only hope Google actually decides to release a true successor this year.
