Dermablend knows what they're doing when it comes to camouflage type makeups. I am a former camo makeup artist and long time melasma sufferer. These drops are so pigmented and the formula is so cosmetically smooth that anyone will look great in this foundation from beginner to pro. The finish is not matte but not satin and definitely not dewy. The coverage is truly buildable though you likely won't need to and a little (a drop) goes a loooong way. I mix a well shaken drop (paramount for this formula) with Elf's halo glow and I've also mixed a drop with moisturizer, rosehip seed oil, and with nothing else and it all worked. The coverage shmears (and feels) like a light weight foundation. It blends like a dream with fingers or a brush with no streaks. Note there is not a lot of play time as it sets quickly. Once it does, it doesn't budge. I've not had any transfer onto my clothing. You must shake this before each use. One star off because the dropper sometimes drop and sometimes doesn't and had I not thrown out the boxes, I may have returned as I don't know if that is the 'norm' for this product and wonder if mine is old or more likely, IS the norm but the delivery system isn't the best for this formulation. Still I do recommend for anyone with melasma, PIHP, redness, etc.

My typical brand is Loreal true match N4. I have light skin and some rosacea. I am starting some fluorouracil on my face and read someone used this brand to cover up the sores and whatnot that will appear. It's pricey compared to what I usually spend so I figured it must be good. Looking at the chart and the colors was of no help at all so I actually ordered three different shades and hoped one would work and I would return the other two since returns are so easy with Amazon. I didn't realize one of them was not coming from Amazon and was going to take 3-5 days to get here. Luckily I noticed it and looked more into it because I know returns are harder when they are shipped by third parties. Since this shade I knew I wouldn't even have to try, lightest of the three(15C) I worked on getting the order cancelled since it hadn't shipped yet. I still haven't heard back from the seller but if it comes I'll just return it since I won't need to even open the package and hopefully I won't have any issues getting my refund.So I ordered 15C, 30N and 37N. There wasn't much to choose from the cooler shades so neutral it would have to be. When I took the 30N and 37N out and compared to my usual shade, I almost didn't even try it because the colors were so very different. Both bottles of the Dermablend looked to me to have a lot of yellow to it, compared to my usual brand, and I wasn't even going to try it because I figured there was no way they would actually work. I'm not sure how it all works but the 37N was a perfect color for me. The 30N was still too light and I knew then the 15C was out. I am amazed at how little of this product you need. The directions say 4 drops max. I used 2 drops but since I was only checking how it blended I may need that 3rd drop if I want complete coverage. It blended easily with a brush. I read some people add it to their moisturizer so I tried that on one side and it does thin it out a bit and lightens the color up slightly so maybe on a day where you just want light coverage, you can do that. I may have to update my review after I actually use it for awhile, but my first impression is good and that's why I only gave it 4 stars as of now until I actually use it for awhile.So I actually ended up returning this. Second time using it I literally couldn't get anything from the dropper. I shook the bottle very vigorously thinking maybe it was just too thick. Nothing. Couldn't get a drop from the dropper. Empty bottle? Maybe. I ordered a new bottle from Ulta and I can actually hear the liquid when I shake it.. The dropper is still hard to work with but I can get something from it now. Maybe they need to make a bigger dropper. I am confident this bottle actually has product in it versus the bottle I bought on Amazon.

I think I would like this make-up but I suspect that the one I received had been in Amazon's warehouse too long. It was definitely a new bottle. It says to shake- there was nothing to shake. It has a dropper but nothing would suck into it. The make-up was like dense cream. Since it's water based, I may try adding some water. Probably best to order from the source for something like this.

My favorite foundation is studio fix by MAC, but this one is good too. I like to alternate foundations just to try new looks on my skin. This foundation doesn’t feel heavy or greasy, and it lasted for a good 12 hours-with primer and setting spray of course. It’s buildable, but in the phone I only applied once over my primer. I like it a lot!

Worse foundation I have used to date!It gets trapped in creases, is unflattering to mature skin, and it has a chemical smell; it smells like glue.The foundation does not blend well after shaking it vigorously as recommended.Additionally, the dropper simply doesn't work. It's useless. I have never seen foundation with a dropper and I don't see how it helps.This is an obscenely overpriced product and I would caution buying it.I am going to go back to either Glow Foundation or Jerome Alexander.

I have used this makeup for a couple years. It makes my face flawless. It doesn’t cake up and I have never had any issues with it wearing off! I will continue to wear this forever

I am 64 years old with rosacea and all the usual woes that naturally come with aging. I started using Dermablend Flawless Creator foundation in conjunction with Laura Geller Spackle - Skin Perfecting Primer, and suddenly I started receiving all these compliments! One lady asked if I had cosmetic procedures done because my skin looked so wonderful....and that was the moment I became a believer in the power of the right cosmetics. It took several tries to get the right color. Admittedly I am not a fan of the SHADE FINDER because that set me on the wrong path to shades way too light for me. If you know your undertones (Neutral, Cool, Warm) and whether you are light, medium, or dark, then you're pretty much on your way to finding the right shade without all the hooplah. Just ordered two more bottles of this Dermablend foundation and I hope they never change the formula or mess with their colors. It has been YEARS since I stumbled across something that made me feel this pretty, and I never want to let it go again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
