My relationship with my 16 year old daughter was at a all time low. I had determined to make a goal of connection with her and this book absolutely transformed our relationship. However, you dad's must read the prepare for each session. First, you MUST read the first 50 pages of the book BEFORE you go through the questions. This will help you prepare for these meetings with your daughter.When I read the first set of questions with my daughter she stated " Dad, you are finally asking the right questions!" She then said "we are meeting early every Wednesday morning for breakfast and we are going through this book!" We did and as a result our relational connection is at an all time high! I have now seen other dads have break throughs with their daughters as they have also gone through this book. It’s true. Most books give you a lot to read. This book not only delivers on that but it also gives you a lot to do. It is the survivors guide for dads with daughters.I want to take a moment of your time to tell you about this amazing book.Do you want to live with purpose and be intentional in your relationship with your daughter? Or do you know someone who is going to be a dad or struggles in his relationship currently with his daughter? This book delivers and helps you understand what is going on in your daughter's world. It helps you pay attention to the details.Dr. Michelle’s scripts are raw, real, and vulnerable. She takes the pressure away from dad’s of feeling like they have to come up with their own script for a conversation with their daughter. Every dad would benefit from her work.I agree with Dr. Michelle. God’s kingdom could greatly advance in America if dad’s lived into their dad role, manned up, and loved their daughters intentionally. I want to challenge you to read Michelle’s book. I train men all over the world to be Effective Fathers and this book is foundational. Guys, it is just darn hard to know what to say or how to say the everyday stuff much less the hard topics to our daughters. There are great tools in Michelle’s book that will “kick-start” your efforts. It is never too late, no matter your daughter’s age, to talk, share, love, and express your heart for her. If you ever drove down the highway or spent time after trying to talk to your daughter and hit a roadblock or you experienced that "wished I would have said something else", then this is your book. I know men have a hard time sitting and reading books just for the heck of it but don't wait till you hit a problem and try to figure it out as you go - you have limited time to get it right. Read it.

Even if you as a Dad have a great relationship with your daughter(s), there are still some ideas which you can use. I have a great relationship with my daughter, but I know it can be better. Michelle will give you new ideas and techniques to enhance your Dad-Daughter(s) relationship. I highly recommend this book.
