Aquascape SLD 5000-9000 GPH Adjustable Flow Pond Pump, Smart Device Controls | 45037 Black

Took a chance on a "small cosmetic imperfection." Didn't expect it to come with the plug cleanly cut off. Replaced the plug, and decided to test it before I hooked it up to my skimmer. Glad I did. Plugged it, and it tried to run, but it struggled, and eventually tripped my circuit breaker. The problem wasn't an incorrect attachment of a plug, as that would have tripped the breaker instantly. I'm realizing I didn't get a good deal on a pump. I bought a very expensive brick.Update: I contacted Aquascape to buy a replacement plug. Customer service was worse than useless. Rep was combative. Took a week and a half dozen emails before she actually understand what I was requesting, and then said they wouldn't sell me a replacement power cord.
