Hotstart Kim TPS101GT10 Series 120V, 1000 Watt Coolant Heater

Original hotstart on generator had malfunctioned, electrical short that caused part of it to melt. This was a plug and play part, fit right where the old one was and worked right off, the cord was a little shorter but not a big deal.

I have a ford Lehman 120 in my trawler. As the weather got chillier, the engine was harder to start. On a recommendation from someone in the trawler group I checked out Hot start. Selected the item I thought would suit my needs, ordered and installed. On cold days, the engine starts easier then it does in the summer!!!

These block heaters are great quality and the price was lowest.

This is a reliable product that we've never had issues with. Quality and good customer service. This is the one that we deal with each time.

When the package arrived loose parts in box that was too small for the coolant heater. Housing is cheap plastic. unit is not at all worth the price.

Have purchased this product in the past. The most recent purchase does not appear to be working properly. The engine temp is at 76 degrees and is causing a fault on the generator that it was purchased for.
