Does a good job
This is a good product, but our earlier version of the exact same product was more compact (thickness wide)—this matters in a small tank! Otherwise great!

Works pretty well
I got this with the scraper blades because when the seasons changed, my aquarium a different angle of sunlight and I had some growth of spot algae that I couldn't get off with my rubber scraper. Using the mag-float as intended worked fairly well but didn't get off all the spots. What I ended up doing was not using the 2nd piece, the one for outside the aquarium. Instead, I held the half attached to the blade in my hand and scraped the walls manually while wearing gloves. The spot algae came right off when I did that.

Works but should have stronger magnet
I should have purchased next size bigger. Magnet pops off to easily.

Might be great for some, but not so much for me
I got one of these to use in each of my 75 gallon aquariums. I have to say for my use they are not great. I am a fanatic when it comes to my aquarium glass being clean. I dont even like to see a fingerprint on the glass. I dont really have algea building up on the glass of my tanks, but I do get that film that builds up and makes everything look murky. To I thought this would be a good way to remove it with out getting wet. Well it works, but it doesnt work well. You need to take multiple passing in one area to remove the film and since I keep cichlids with sand you cant get near the bottom of the tank, because you dont want to get sand in this thing as it will scratch the glass and especially acrylic tanks. You cant move to quickly with it because it will detach and just float to the top. The one thing I do like about it, is the fact that it can just be left in the tank. For those who have heavy algea growth on their glass this will probably work well for them. Its just not for me and my use. Ill just stick with the tried and true aquarium brush scrubber.

Doesn't really clean as well
I still use it to loosen up the algae. I still have to use my fingers to go over it the algae that the magnet had failed to loosen up.

Works
Does it’s job-gets all the green gunk off the glass. Transfers around corners so you don’t have to stick you hand in which is cool.

Nah Float
Works like a charm, I had 6 months worth of algae. And Mag Float took it out in seconds. For the money, this is with the investment. And instant gratification.

Expensive but worked amazing.
I was surprised how well it worked on my 20g tank. I'm a first time / long time since owning fish and this made it a breeze cleaning the glass. The interior piece does float at least for me. I avoided the edges and some reviews said it strips the sealant so I hand scrubbed those but over all very satisfied with this product and it feels good quality and will last a while. It is velcro so I did need to go over a few spots. Circling motion seemed to work best

does work
scraper does work but disappointed at the strength of the magnet, tends to let go while using it.the metal on the blade is to soft and easy to bend, I think they could make this scraper with better metal.but it works, and if your gentle with it ,it should last.
